help! flights

we are looking for flights out of tampa to montego bay. so far the flight times have stunk but we have found one where we'd be in montego boy by 11am. BUUUT we are trying to keep the checked/carry on luggage fee in mind when booking. what are the best/worst airlines for this? thanks! cant wait to be back!

American do not charge for first bag to Jamaica.

MaryKay - We used to fly out of Tampa (we live near Bradenton) and the best flights out of Tampa were on American through Miami. American allows 2 checked bags at no charge for international travel.

That being said, last trip we flew JetBlue out of Orlando. Direct flight. Got us into MBJ around noon, and it is SO much less travel time. Plus the prices are FABULOUS. You get ONE checked bag free, not two.

Take a look. If you can swing the trip out of Orlando, it's definitely worth it. And JetBlue was truly a pleasure to fly.
