Honeymoon @ CSS - Room Choice?

Hi Everyone! My fiance and I will be married April 24, 2010 and will be headed to lovely CSS on April 25 - May 2. It's our first time to a Couples Resort and first time to Couples.

We've booked through a travel agent and booked a One Bedroom Beachfront Suite for our accommodations. Is this a good choice? I've seen quite a few beautiful pictures from rooms that are One Bedroom Ocean Suites and hope we didn't make a wrong choice. I would love to have a room where I can hear the waves crashing at night... not sure if any rooms here are close enough to the beach for that, but that would be ideal. What do you all recommend?

I do not think you can hear the ocean in any of the rooms. All I can say is to book the room you think is best for you and you will love it.

Congratulations! You will love CSS. We stayed in a 1 bdrm Ocean Suite w/balcony in G block, we could hear the tree frogs, and sometimes the ocean from the balcony. The ocean is usually quite calm, not the crashing waves you are envisioning, although you do hear some of that from the Spa huts on the cliffs over the ocean.

The 1 bdrm oceanview w/balcony are larger than the Beachfront w/jacuzzi, the suites themselves are larger, and the balconies on most are huge. They are located up in the cliffs and require stairs, the higher up, the more stairs, but also better views! The beachfront w/jacuzzi suites are very popular because of their location the fewest number of stairs and closest to the main attractions!

Do the 360 panaramic views and look at the resort map, decide what is best for you. The rooms look exactly like they do in the website!

We had a group of 10 people our last trip and toured the Verandah, 1 bdrm oceanview w/balcony (3 of us had this category and each room was slightly different) and the beachfront jacuzzi. We went back and forth for our trip in April between 1 bdrm ocean w/bal versus beachfront, and even after having seen them and knowing the layout and locations, we still agonized, we went back to the 1 bdrm ocean w/balcony in spite of the stairs we loved the size of the room and balcony, but you honestly cannot go wrong!

You have made a great choice for a honeymoon.

i totally agree with everyone here.......you will LOVE CSS!! It is two resorts in one...plenty of spots to stop and be romantic with the one you love and then head to the pool and poolside bar to make some new friends quickly! We had a G block w/balcony our first trip and loved it but are getting a beachfront this time. we didn't like the amount of stairs but that is definitely because we became so lazy and barely wanted to move out of our lounge chairs!!! LOL you will have so much fun and congratulations on your upcoming wedding....

My wife and I are going to bet a CSS april 20-30th for our 5 year Anniversery. we booked the Penthouse suite and this will be our first time at CSS we have been to CTI 3 years in a row so Couples is the same at all there resorts You wil have a great time and hope to see Y'all there.
