    Default Honeymoon?

My husband and I have been married for over a year but did not manage to take a honeymoon at the time due to financial reasons. After months of saving we are now taking a 7 night cruise to the Eastern Caribbean followed by a 6 night stay at CN.

I noticed that you must provide a marriage certificate dated within the past 90 days to receive the honeymoon perks. I am slightly disappointed as this is our official 'honeymoon'........even if it is slightly delayed. However, i am sure we will have a blast anyway.

Anybody going to be at CN Nov 1-7?

I can't believe how lucky we are to enjoy a 7 night cruise and then head straight to the airport for 6 more nights in beautiful Jamaica!!!

Actually, honeymoon perks are only offered to guests arriving within 30 days of the date of their marriage, not 90 days. Couples has to draw the line somewhere, otherwise people who have been married 20+ years could arrive claiming it to be their "official honeymoon." How could the resort prove that they'd taken one earlier?

It doesn't matter that you won't receive a free half-hour massage and a bottle of champagne. You'll have a wonderful time regardless.

Even without the "Honeymoon" part of the package-
Sha-dang! That is a heck of a honeymoon! Enjoy!

We've been to CN 12 times. We've been visiting CN every year since 1999. Our first trip to Jamaica was to CTI in 1998 when it was the only Couples resort. The following year, we visited the newly-opened CN and have been back every year. In 2007, we started visiting Couples twice a year and have now been to each of the four resorts.

If you have any CN-specific questions or need advice about packing (we're good at packing and only travel with carry-on luggage), feel free to contact me at pamelaboland at optonline dot net.
