Hot Buttered Rum - with a 'Twist'
I've modified the traditional hot buttered rum recipe to include Sangsters Rum Cream. Delicious! Merry Christmas too all our Couples Friends.
Recipe:
In the bottom of your favourite mug, place
1 small spoon butter
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp cinammon
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp brown sugar
Muddle (mix) together with a spoon until soft.
Add 1 oz. Appleton VX
1 oz. Sangsters Rum Cream
Fill mug with boiling water, and stir until butter is melted.
Enjoy this wonderful drink with your honey on a snowy wintery evening. It is not a substitute for Jamaica by any means, but it does make the heart warm.
