    I think you need to ask the administrators to change it for you.

    Couldn't you simply create a new user name?

    You can create a new account, but if it's attached to the same email address it might mess up the administration. I'm not sure though.

    Guess if you want to keep the post count going, then there needs to be a change at the administrative level as Amy suggested or by some other method.

    This is a good question for me as well, being that when I changed my original user ID (Simicu) to go with this then-new message board, I wanted the name to reflect our upcoming 25th wedding anniversary. Well that's all fine and dandy during the period we're still married for 25 years, but come next year, it will become obsolete.
