At CTI, we both get up early, around 6 a.m. and enjoy our baby pot of Blue Mountain coffee and watch the sun rise (we go in February) and just sit there and smile like a couple of goofy people, because we're so damn happy to be there. We watch the beach get all cleaned up and greet the staff who are about that task. Ya just have to pinch yourself when you take in the utter beauty of it all. We head to breakfast around 7:30 or 8:00, then settle into our chairs on the beach for the day. Life is tough...

Wolfiespetresort, my wife and I were at CN back in May and the bars were not open till 10am. You could get champagne for a mimosa, but that was about it. We enjoy rum cream with our coffee, so before we retired to our room for the night we would stop at one of the bars and get 2 glasses of rum cream. Just put them in your room refridgerator and you are set for the next morning!

I can't sleep in when I'm on vacation. I would stroll down past the Office of Nature as the sun was rising, come back and have a light breakfast with my sweetie, then help the dive guys get ready for the morning dive. Oh how I loved the smoked marlin on a bagel. *sigh*

"Our" Couples is CSA. I get up as soon as it is light and hit the gym. Then it's back to the room for coffee and papaya on our balcony, followed by a day at the beach. Sometimes we snorkel or water ski, and we always go for a long walk or two.

I generally catch a yoga class late afternoon and my husband will have a cocktail at the bar. Then we shower and change for drinks and dinner. Depending on the entertainment offered we will sometimes go out for a bit after dinner.

    Bliss!

Do you know if I can get champagne for a mimosa at CTI prior to 10:00? Do they have it at the buffet or by request? I love those! People at the other Couples resorts keep mentioning it also! Thanks!

Wake up around 8 am or so, with a splitting headache. Quietly get up without waking my sleeping beauty. Take about 3 excedrin and wash it down with about 4 shots of appleton. jump in a quick shower and toss on some shorts. Wake up my wife and go to breakfast around 9 am. head back to the room after a walk down the beach. We throw on swim attire and head down to the pool and wait for the bar to open. Then we try to use the sun to figure out when lunch is and go from there.

I loved reading every one of these posts! We will be back to CN in April (23 more Thursdays to be exact!) On our first trip last December, we seemed to go to bed early (too early) and then wake up early as well. This time, I am going to try and get up much earlier and stay up much later... I don't want to miss one second of paradise sleeping!!!!

What does "DH" stand for? Dedicated Husband?

We get up around 7:00 and enjoy the coffee and fruit delivered. Then we head to the palms for an early breakfast so my husband can get ready to dive and I can work out at the gym. We meet back at the room afterwards and get ready for a glorious day on the beach.

Okay, I'll be the only one to admit it. We get up with the first light of dawn, throw on bathing suits, and enjoy some non-tobacco on the verandah. Then down to the beach to make sure the sea hasn't been drained overnight. A walk of a few miles up and back, and then into the Palms for an indigenous breakfast.

My bride needs her beauty sleep... the fact that she's NOT an early riser easily explains why she's so VERY beautiful. I, on the other hand, have a more natural beauty that allows me to rise very early... so my FIRST order of business in the mornings at SweptAway is to slip out of our room without waking her.

After that, its off to the Palms or to Patois Patio for a pot of morning coffee, which I promptly take to the beach to relax with. I'll set up on one of the beach tables, then walk up and down the beach along the water line, watching the rayfish play or the fishermen heading out for the morning catch.

At about 8, I head back to the room to let my bride know that she's more beautiful today than yesterday, and that she can take a bit of vacation from her rigorous regimen of sleep... this normally elicits a bit of a frown (I think) across her VERY beautiful face... but she relents, and its off to breakfast before enjoying the beach.

The mornings of our honeymoon in August started like this EVERY morning:

-Wake up to continental breakfast at the door.
-Sit on the balcony drinking coffee and eat our exotic fruit plate.
-Put on the bathing suits and grab a couple of chairs on the beach.
-Walk back to Patois where we each order a meal and an order of banana stuffed french toast!!
-Waddle back to the beach just in time for the bar to open up where we grabbed our first bloody mary of the day.
-Lounged on the beach while our drinks kept magically being refilled without us getting up.
-Head over to the Cabana Grill for lunch.
-Hang out at the pool bar until shower/dinner time.

    Can I go back tomorrow???

Fawnridge, we do the same! Wake and bake baby. Great way to start the day when you are on vacation. That, and of course, some Blue Mountain coffee.

Strictly speaking the morning starts by walking back from the bar! But if you mean post sleep ---Easy one, order coffee for delivery to the room. Then off to patois for that lovely french toast!! One sight I never tire of is that first view of the sea between the palm trees with beautiful blue sky above it

Watching CTI wake up was one of the best parts of the vacation. Wife would sleep in, as I sat on the balcony with some of JA's natural crops, and some Blue Mountain coffee. Once the bride wakes it is off for some breakfast than a day spent on TI.

I really need to get back there!!

Day starts on the treadmill around 6ish. Afterwards (7ish) I stop for a cup of Blue Mountain coffee, and sit overlooking the pool, listen to the birds, watch the resort come to life. Just so nice to see it all wake up. I then make two cugs of coffees, and head back to the room to shower and get dressed. My better half Phyllis is usually up by then. I make the first major decision of the day, which is, which bathing suit and tee shirt to put on. We head out for a delightful breakfast, where we for one of the few times of the year, stop and just take our time to enjoy the moment.

What a Bummer... We were hoping that our vacations would have more of an overlap and maybe once again we could have a dinner with you and Art.

Oh well may be next year, which we have already booked during the last sale.. 12/11 to 12/19 both this year and next, budget willing.....

Safe trip say hi to Art for us.

We slept with the sliding doors open, so I was always awake at sunrise. I'm a natural early riser, so this didn't bother me a bit. We tried room service a couple of mornings, but I preferred to make coffee in the room myself. Then I would wake up my wife and we would drink our coffee on the balcony while most of the resort was still asleep.

After she got ready for the day, we would go down to the Patio and enjoy a wonderful breakfast before embarking on our chosen activity for the day.
