How is the weatherin September?

Hello, new too this all, we were thinking of booking at CSS in mid to late September, just wondering about wheather? I have friends that tell me its prime hurricane season and we shouldnt do it. Ant thoughts would be greatley appreciated. Oh yeah we will be first timers. Thanks Brett

Out of 10 trips to Jamaica (#11 booked) we have been twice in September for our anniversary on the 7th 7 & no problems with the weather .... We did come down to the wire a few years ago with Hurricane Dean that went through a few days before we were to arrive so we were not sure whether we were actually going to get to go or not but we went & all was fine .... some minor tree damage from when we were there 9 months earlier is all we could see. As long as you get the cancel for any reason insurance, there's no reason not to take advantage of the lower rates at that time ..... The weather was great.

Our first trip to CN was in September of 09 and the weather was great. I think it was the second week of September when we went. We had a little rain everyday in the afternoon for about 45 minutes, it was a nice break in the day.

Our last trip was in June and it rained alot for 3 days straight. We had a rather large group and if it rained when we were in the pool or the ocean we just stayed there, you're already wet. At one point it was pouring and there was a mass exit of people from the ocean and we had it to ourselves. Next trip is scheduled for April. You can fix or change the weather. the trip is what you make of it. If you do a search for weather you will probably get a lot of posts.

Welcome the the Couples Family!

We were at CTI in September 2004 during Hurricane Ivan and what a wonderful experience (a little scary too). Couples management and staff handled the situation with such professionalism. It was an awesome experience! Have returned every year since for our Anniversary and the weather has been fantastic! Have made very many friendships over the years!

We will be there this September 6-19 and will be visiting CSS during our trip. Hopefully we will have pleasure of meeting you! Enjoy!

When we were there in early September the weather could not have been more beautiful! Of course, it's a crap shoot. Yes, it's the "H" season (won't say the word) but Jamaica is far enough south that the storms do not regularly pass through. Rain is an everyday occurance in the Caribbean but we never saw any. Don't jinx me! We're back at CSS in late August through September 9th. Hoping the weather is great again for us...and you!
