I-Pad 2 Connection to I-Pad/MP3 Player @ CN?

Hello all!

We will be arriving at CN on 2/4/12 and are getting very excited to say the least! We are wondering if our new I-Pad2 will connect with the player in the room? Has anyone had experience?

The players we've seen at CN, CTI, and CSS all worked with our ipod and iphone fine. The ipad wouldn't physically fit however. For the ipad you'd need a dock extension cable something like this.
