    Hi Randy, I'm not sure that you'll remember me but 3 years ago we visited Couples Swept Away for just one night. I was scheduled to have you call and read my letter to my husband but somehow there was a mix-up and you were unable to contact me. You called me the next day when we were on the shuttle to go back to the airport because we got the devastating news that my mother had passed away the previous evening. The staff at CSA was wonderful in handling our unexpected return to the US at the last minute. Although we did get back to CSA for our 30th vow renewal with our adult children the following year I never did get that love letter read.
    We have a trip planned again this fall to CN arriving Nov. 13 for a week for our 32nd anniversary. I'd love to try again with the love letter reading if you're available. Thanks, Kathy

    My husband and I will return to CSA on November 25 for 10 nights. We will be celebrating our 1-year wedding anniversary on Friday, November 26. I would truly appreciate you reading my love letter to him that Friday evening at dinner. I plan to arrange for a private dinner on the beach. Could you please contact me with details?

    Randy, I was wondering how late in the day you would read a letter. My wife and I will be @ CSA next April 16-23, this will be our 38th wedding anniversary. Trip #3, all at CSA, I booked this trip early, so we have the $500 resort credit. Could I use this for the private dinner?

    Here are a couple of letters that I just read this week.

    "Dear Nesha (pronounced Neesha),
    When we first started our life together, it was fairly common for me to spend time writing poems and letters, letting you know how much you meant to me and how excited I was to begin this journey of life with you. As the years have gone by the frequency of my writing has slowed. Our lives have become busy, and it seems that all too often I just don’t take the opportunity to put into words how much you still mean to me and how lucky I truly am to be spending my life with you. So when this opportunity presented itself, to not only put my feelings into words again, but to have them read to you by surprise, I just could not resist.

    The truth is, in all my life, I never expected I would ever be this happy. I never expected I would find a partner who I would love as much as I do, who could accept me for me and love me the way you do. I figured a life like ours was reserved for love songs and fairy tales. From the first moment I saw you I knew you were special, and as our friendship developed I dreamed that it would blossom into more. That day finally came on January 15th, 1998, and from that moment on my love for you has continued to grow. We’ve had our ups and downs, as any couple does, but there has never been a moment when I’ve questioned my love for you. We’ve grown together tremendously since our beginning that January, and we have accomplished so much; getting married, finishing school, buying our house, all amazing things that were made possible in my life only because of you. For that, and for just being you, you have my love as well as my gratitude and appreciation. This is my happily ever after.

    So as we spend this too short a time at this tropical paradise, and after we return to our mundane life back home, please remember now and forever that I love you more than anything in this world and cherish every moment past and present that we spend together. I love you.

    Love,
    brandon"

    "Dear Fred,
    I’m sure you are wondering why Randymon is reading a love letter to you for me, but, he is Mr. Romance and we are in such a romantic place.
    From the day in 1975 that I saw the High School jock running down the sidewalk to catch me and ask me for a date, you have taken my breath away. I was only sixteen when you took me to my Junior prom in a borrowed dress but I remember every moment of that night. I even remember the beautiful flowers you brought me.
    Granted, we went our separate ways and had separate lives for almost twenty-five years, you, the young man running down the sidewalk, never left my heart.
    Now, my wonderful husband, it has been almost eight years that we have been married and you still take my breath away. Now, I don’t have to borrow a dress because you have given me more than any woman deserves.
    You are the most giving and loving man sweetheart.
    I love to watch you with Liliana, our granddaughter, you can see love for a step grand baby. Love, because she is in both of our eyes “our” granddaughter. You have so much love for everyone it’s unfortunate that not everyone can see that.
    You and I are in this for the long run baby. When we stood in front of God, family and friends to say our vows, we made a promise that is not hard to keep because we have something that other people can’t figure out. Most people never find what we have do they? Oh, they think they have it for about the first six months of marriage but then reality hits and they yell and go to bed mad and never really make up.
    We do things differently out of the deep love we have.
    I feel as that I want to simply crawl inside and live within your soul and that is what we have done.
    When I got divorced, my oldest son told me that I had a hole in my heart. He said fthat women have huge hearts and there are spots like a puzzle for God, children, family, friends but at the center is a big piece for a woman’s husband and that is why I felt empty. Now, my heart is exploding because you have filled that hole up so much.
    I love you forever MRFJB
    From your wife MRSFJB"

    Hi Randymon

    We were unable to get a good phone connection at CTI for you to read the following love letter to my husband, Paul. Could you still post it for me. Thanks ever so much.

    PS have received some good responses for the reunion in May 2011 in NJ.

    To My Dearest Husband, Paul.

    Happy 30th Anniversary! I thank God everyday for all your love, compassion, patience and making my life complete. You are the reason I am the person I am today.

    It is hard to believe that 30 years ago today we arrived here in paradise for our honeymoon and the Couples' Family put a magical spell on us for the rest of our married life. When we renewed our vows here 4 years ago it meant more to me than our wedding day which reinforced what marriage is all about.

    To this day, it is still the most memorable of all the places we've ever been and know that you will agree with me that COUPLES stands for:

    Caring and compassionate organization;
    Outstanding service;
    Unique resort;
    Paradise of them all;
    Loving one another;
    Everything you would expect; and last but not least
    Superior staff and management!

    Thank you for everything and for being the most wonderful friend, lover, husband and father. So looking forward to another 30 years of marriage bliss.

    My Love Always and Forever
    Debbie

    Hi Randymon, this is a great link. My wife and I are coming out to CTI in March for my 40th, (our 1st trip to Jamaica only 122 days to go), which means we are not going away for our 2nd anniversary having been away for the 1st and we got married abroard as well. Is it possible to call us in the UK on our anniversary next February? It is on a Saturday so at least we will have the day off together. If you can't that is understandable. I look forward to hearing from you.
    Regards Dave

    Hi Randymon,
    Headed your way 18 Nov for our 4th Annual... Came for our 10yr anniversay in 2007 knowing nothing about Couples, been back (CN) every year since. A small "twist" this year: spliting the time between CSA and CN. Tell me about the Love Letters?

    Default Love letters

    Hi Randy! Could you please give me more information on this service? What a great idea! My husband & I will be in CN for Valentines Day 2011 and I'd love to have a letter read to him. This is our first time to visit Jamaica and a Couples resort, this may put him at ease. I look forward to hearing from you!

    Default Celebrating 20 Years CSA Dec. 5-10 1st Timers

    Hello Randymon,
    My husband and I are coming to CSA Dec 5-10 for our 20 year wedding anniversary. I am interested in having you read a love letter from me to him during that time. It's a special event for the both of us. A short story is that we met in high school, got engaged 1 year later and have been married (with two beautiful children) for 20 years. Who says young love doesn't work? This is our first time to an AI and are really excited.

    Anyway, looking forward to hearing from you!

    Thanks

    Misty

    Hi Randy
    As usual I am leaving things to the last minute, was hoping to find a contact for you other than through this post as my wife reads this message board and our home e-mail regularly and I had wanted to surprise her. We are heading to CSS on Monday for 8 days and I finally found the inspiration to write my letter for her that I would love to have you read to her on our 25th anniversary.

    I called Halifax, Nova Scotia and read this letter to Ryan.

    Ryan,

    I love you more than anything in my life, I always have and always will. We are best friends and soul mates, and I could not have asked for a better person to come into my life 5 and a half years ago. Despite me being stressed out and cranky, you have been the best thing for me. You make me realize that there is nothing more in this world I need if I have you. You take care of me, and complete me. I loved you from the first and haven't yet. Yes we have been through some rough stuff but nothing could break us apart. You are my favorite and I need you. This vacation to Jamaica is going to be an amazing time to celebrate our love. Hopefully we will continue to go back, reserving that time to be completely involved with each other. Thank you so much for taking me on this trip.

    I promise to love you forever,

    love your baby girl,

    Janis

    Thanks Randy, my husband was very touched by your call. As a matter of fact, I actually started tearing up when the phone rang. I can't tell you how much I appreciate you reading my love letter.

    You've definitely started our vacation off on the right foot!

    On to CSA tomorrow morning at 6am...
