Live from CN - a CTI trip report (?!)
We are at CN now after a four night stay at CTI. We'd stayed at COR (now CTI) 5 years ago and lasted only one night before transferring back to CN - mildewy carpet in the room being the main, but not only, culprit. After the remodel, an entirely different property and we found it to be fantastic! We will definitely be back, although we continue to be huge CN fans.
The pastry chef (chef Green) is *fantastic*, the decor nice, sleek and clean, the staff bending-over-backwards friendly (with the exception of the service at 8 rivers which was terrible), the food excellent, the new Thai chef willing and skilled and excited with her new position (Bayside is now Thai/Asian), the kitchen so very well laid out and *huge*.
Unlike those at CN, the watersports guys at CTI are really friendly and helpful, a welcome difference.
Congrats to all for a job well done. I know the year plus working on the renovation was difficult, trying, hot, exasperating...but we thank you all for your hard work and dedication. The property is a jewel!
We also toured CSS (thanks Michelle!) and it is a gem of a place as well.
