    Hi Jeffmon!
Thanks for all the great information about Lobster Daves! Could you give me a "guestimate" as to how much a lobster dinner for 2 and maybe some of that wonderful fish would cost? Also how much time would you set aside for a nice lunch?

    Thank you!

I believe we usually give Dave $30-$40 a person for all food and drinks but I'm not sure. I'll have to check with the wife to be sure. She remembers these kinds of things. We do like to give him a little extra since he really goes out of his way to make our experience great. Those that were there with us in 2009 will remember the mineral pool incident. Also, be sure to check out Kimberly and her necklaces. I believe that she is Dave's sister-in-law. She will customize your necklaces while you wait.

Also, we like to bring some small packages of M&Ms with us to hand out to the little kids there. They really love them as chocolate is really expensive for them in Jamaica. The look on their faces when the get them is priceless. One Love!

I would say to allow for around three hours. You will usually want about three hours to eat and have some time for some shopping. If you try to go over there to eat during the scheduled shopping trip from Couples there may not be enough time. Plus the trip is sometimes to the Tajmahal (sp?) Plaza instead of the Island Village Shopping Center. You can see the location differences on the map I posted earlier.

We will usually arrange for a taxi at the front desk and have them drop us off at Island Village Shopping Center entrance. A good idea is to get the taxi drivers business card or at least their cell phone number so that you can call them if they need to pick you up sooner or later. There is no need to worry about having or using your own cell phone as Dave will call them for you if you want. The taxi driver will want to speak with you to make sure that the change is ok with you. You can have them pick you up at the entrance to the shopping center where they dropped you off.

No worries! You will have a great time.
