    Default Lobster night at CTI

    I was curious....we LOVE lobster, and we were wondering if there is a particular place where we should eat? Or just any restaurant is good? Is it whole lobsters or lobster dishes? Looking very forward to the lobster night!!

    Is lobster season in right now Cyrenne? I love lobster too and that helped me book our reservation in December knowing it was in season.

    hmm, we have had lobster every where except Bayside and it's all been good. One time, while dining at the Verandah, we had friends that went to the patio to get lobster appetizers while they waited for their entree (also lobster). It is prepared different ways at each restaurant. I think it's baked at Verandah, in a sauce at 8 Rivers, and I am not sure at the Patio or Bayside. I had the Lobster Thermador at the Poolside Gala and that was also good. Also, keep in mind that it is Caribbean lobster, not Maine lobster. They are not as big as the Maine lobster, but still very tasty and you can get as much as you want.

    Lobster is out of season April 1-June 30.

    Yes soonerfans...it starts July 1st. Ok thank you Vicky I have heard that too...that some go to the restaurant and then later go to the buffet for more!! (10lbs heavier at the end of the week no doubt!!)

    And if you still need more lobster... Lobster Dave's - located right behind Margaritaville in Ocho Rios - is FANTASTIC!!!

    Well, last year, it was only 3 pounds, and that was following being in the gym every day, spin class a couple of times, and doing the power walk with Alford 3 times. Now a few years ago, it was bad. I had trouble finding something to wear home comfortably.
