Looking for Carved Wooden Bird

Has anyone ever seen a Jamaican vendor that has 2-3 foot tall carved wooden Egrets or Herons for sale? We will be at CSS and CN in a few days.

Last time we stayed at CN, there was a vendor that had a wooden Rooster about 2 feet tall. It was beautiful. It seems as though there were many different types of carvings.

I'm sure you can find one at the craft markets in Ocho Rios or Negril. Many times the local vendors will bring carvings onto the resorts. You shouldn't have a problem finding.

We were there last year at the Ocho Rios Gran Bahia Princple resort and the fenders there had tall statues of birds I couldn't tell you what kind of birds they were---but they did have some...

We have looked at all the pictures we have taken in Jamaica over the years (on and off the resorts) and none of the wood carvers have ever displayed a Heron or Egret. Just parrots. We were hoping someone knew of a specific place where they had seen one. These are the birds you see walking around CN all the time. I hope we don't have to take a cab to that huge craft market in Negril! They are the pushiest vendors of all!
