Mineral Grotto at CSS

We were at CSS 7/18-24. Early in the vacation we went looking for the mineral grotto. I was excited to find it and upon descending the stairs (looking at the grotto instead of the stairs), I misstepped and tumbled rather badly. I 'skinned' my knee broadly (but fortunately not deeply) and tweaked a couple of muscles. I was not bleeding, however and decided to continue to the grotto rather than seek medical attention. I soaked for a long time, while reading how the locals would stand in line at the place.

The fall was one that could have ruined a vacation. However, I did not miss a beat and other than leaving a little blood at the massage hut, had few problems. I still have a scab on my knee to remind me to watch where I am going, but I believe in the mineral grotto. I think it works

The grotto is supposed to have healing powers, mind you the little fish that nibble on your toes might help too!
