Need your Opinion on Air Travel

We are now booked on a 2:50pm flight leaving Montego Bay back to NY on the 27th of Nov. They didn't have a later flight when we booked, but they do now. There is a $100 fee per person if we want to change to the later flight. Do you think we should pay the $200 tay a few more hours at the resort?

It is really not worth the $200.while Couples is great you still have to allow travel time. You really are only getting about 2 hours extra at the resort depending which resort you are staying at and which airline. We usually take AJ from NY and our flight home is at 6:15pm. Couples Negril has us leave the resort @1:15 as AJ wants you there min 3 hours before the departure. Last year we did AA and the flight was at 5 and we also left @ 1 as AA is easier about the time waiting than AJ. If you are staying at CN for a 2:50 flight you will probably leave the resort between 11 and 11:30. 1 hour and 15 min travel to the airport then about 2 to 2 1/2 hours hanging around the airport before departure. You might get the change fee waived if you tell your story to the airline.

Why not price up the puddle jumper back to the airport. Everyone says it gives you more time at the resort.

Personally, I wouldn't. I would do as the previous poster suggested and use that money for a private dinner on the beach!!

Couples is gonna chase you out on getaway day, so unless you hire a private transfer, you're not going to buy much extra time by changing.

All good things must come to an end, and a Couples stay is a GOOD thing.

I would not pay the charge. Not much to do for a hour or two. Going home day is sad, one or two hours does not help.
