No tipping, what about gifting?

We are going to CSA in March for the first time, we understand that tipping is not allowed however we would love to show our appreciation towards the staff as we know how hard they work so hard

We are looking to bring some gifts with us in lieu of tips

What items do you think would be appreciated by the staff as we are thinking along the lines of football shirts (soccer shirts for our American friends), toiletries or maybe crayons and colouring books for their children

Any ideas would be much appreciated

We always take gifts. I bring candles and b&b works stuff for the women. This time bringing Saints shirts for the guys.

Very good ideas. They also enjoy chocolate as it is rather expensive there

The best thing you can do for the staff is to recognize them by name on your survey sheet that you fill out at the end of your stay. Bonuses and promotions are partially based off of these.
