    Default Old Tower Isle Postcards

    Neat pictures of CTI going back to at least 1949.

    It's interesting that in no picture do you see a pier. Does anyone know when it was built? (And the island sure looks funny with nothing on it but the tower.)

    I believe the first pier (dock) was where Bayside is now. In one of the pictures it is shown.

    Postcard No 28 shows a pier at the bottom of the picture which would be near Bayside.

    My guess would be it happened around the time the resort had to carry insurance.

    I think I have a postcard not on that page from the 60s. I need to pull it off the "old TI stuff" shelf and scan it in for that site.
