Pelican Bar

We are going to be staying at either CSA or CN in May, and want to possibly go to the Pelican Bar. Has anyone else done this coming from Negril? Is it a terribly long drive? I want to visit this place, but don't want to spend hours upon hours driving to a destination...the resorts look too fab to spend all day in a van!

Any thoughts on this trip would be appreciated!

We did the Pelican Bar along with YS Falls and the Black River in 06, if I were to do it again I would still combine it with YS Falls, but possibly skip the Black River.

The boat takes off from Treasure Beach to get to the Pelican Bar.

It was a very worthwhile experience, it was about 1-1/2 hours, but we also stopped to pick up folks from another resort.

Like Marie said combine it with another adventure and spend the day out seeing what you can while you are down that way.
