Oh, just a quick note to Jamaicanjunkie.......
I will admit we get a little defensive when it comes to Couples but let me put this situation into perspective.
Imagine you decide to put your house up for sale. Your agent comes and takes beautiful pictures of each room, the outside etc and posts them on MLS. The next day, an agent from a rival office comes in and takes some pictures too. He takes pictures of your eavestroughs, cracked driveway and the inside of your garage. He takes the picture of the inside of your garage, captions it with "living room" and posts it on the internet for prospective buyers to see. You would be mighty upset now wouldn't you? He would be interfering with your ability to do business. That is exactly what JS has done to CTI.
Couples is "home" for many of us. It has been attacked and we are defending!!

I have also been burnt by JS on the TA forums so much so that I haven't returned.

As for the review, I get that some folks won't fall in love with CTI as we have and I have come to realize that it's okay it just leaves more for us when we return "home". But what REALLY "chaps my chassis" is his blatant lies with the photos. I asked him about it and he said, that a lot must have changed since I was there 8 years ago. He obviously did not look at my profile to see that we were just there in 2011, 2010, 2009 (missed a year due to renovations) 2007, 2006 and have #6 booked for this July (here's hoping air fares drop). And yes, things have changed with the renovations, some things we love, some not so much, but it's the people that keep us coming back year after year.

I've been following this thread and been keeping quiet, watching things unfold. Now I will offer my J $ worth.

Opinions are like A__holes...everyone has one and some stink worse than others! *LOL* That being said, JS is entitled to his opinion and not every resort is good for everyone, which is why, thank GOD there are plenty of them to choose from. Reviews are subjective and I take the ones on either extreme with a grain of salt.

I was rather sympathetic to this guy JS, thinking he was being flamed for his subjective opinion, that is, until I saw his rash of sudden reviews. As Oprah would say, I had an "AH HA moment". Then I reread his review of CTI and noticed that this alleged "travel agent" spelled worse that my dyslexic future stepson! Now, I believe that I am queen of the typos so that's why I put my review in Word and use spell check so, hopefully, the typos are at a minimum. If you are going to post a review and want to be taken somewhat seriously, this dude needs a lesson in spelling, that is, unless english is his second language (he is from Montreal, after all)

My own expirience with folks like this fellow is that he is probably without any status or power in his job or personal life and this is how he gets his jollies. In the words of one of my favorite comedians, John Pinnette, "I say nay nay!" He has acheived his dubious goal of ruffling feathers so it is time for us to let himm slink off into the sunset and back into the realm of those that remain unknown.

I have used the "report button" daily with no results. Very frustrating.
However, JS has just escalated the "vendetta" but posting 2 sets of pictures for "people to get a feel of CTI vs the windy resort" This is the kind of garbage he spews on a regular basis, then has the nerve to end his posts with "Blessings and respect to you" UNREAL!!!!!

How long did they suspend you for? I tried to message you on there but no can do. I think we waged a nice war before we were shut down. IMHO, we both spoke the truth and nothing but the truth. We were logical, factual and thorough. I think we are up against more than JS in this battle. He seems to be getting away with anything and everything while the rest of us get our posts deleted. Makes you wonder.

Fluffin Here .It was not me that took a suspension this time due to IDIOT BOY. It was another Brave Member who stood up and fought the bravest this time ;-) I am extremely proud of HER!! I do not want to say who it is on this forum but I am sure she will be along to tell her story very soon.

Well it wasn't Fluffin that was shut down, but me. My TA account has been disabled and I have to assume it is because all I did was point out incorrect statements that were being made regarding awards, reviews and pictures. I have become a causalty of war.

It is amazing to me that extent that JS will go to protect his resorts of choice.....balant lies in the same threads. So yes this is a personal vendetta for me now.

ive just read a review on ta about cti, which raised my eyebrows. i am due to go there in the summer so im constantly checking out the reviews on there as well as on this board. there is a review from a guy who says he is a travel agent and he gave one of the worst reviews ive seen ta for a while(even by rubbish hotels standard) he even went as far as to post pics, that seem almost petty as no matter how good a resort is, you can dig for things to make it sound bad. the fact that his review is surrounded by other great ones kinda make it stand out and look like this is some kind of personal vendetta against couples resorts. so im asking has anybody seen it and is he some kind of angry ex-employee or something?

......I think you will get truer info here than at TA.

Hello, My husband and I have been to CTI 2 times so far, we will be there for a third time this Friday!!! The first time we were there was before the renovations.

We LOVE it, I really don't think there was anything that went wrong for us, and the other couples we met were
happy as well.

Can't wait to see all our friends Friday!!
