Baybreeze~Unfortunately my husband and I won't be taking off again from Philadelphia until December but I"ll give you a little info in case you haven't taken the 6 am flight before. I"m assuming your on Air Jamaica/Caribbean Air, if your not disgregard some of what I say.
We flew out of Phila on what use to be AJ 44(now BW44) in July and I wasn't sure at the time when the ticket counter actually opened, since in the past that flight left and hour and a half later. I tried calling the airport for that info and was told to be there by 5! riiight...lol Luckily I didn't listen to that advice, the ticket counter opened at 3:15, and at that time there were only a few us there so we were able to get our boarding passes right away. Then there was an hour wait until security opened at 4:15 and by then there were quite a few people but we were able to get through security by 4:30. And there ARE places open for coffee and breakfast that early. Also, our flight was contracted out to Sun Country Airlines. We were a little disappointed at first that we didn't have our "lovebird" plane and Jamaican flight attendants ( I feel like I"m on vacation once I hear that wonderful Jamaican accent) but the seats were comfy and we actually got a nice light meal on the flight. I"m not sure if its going to be a common thing for Caribbean Air to use Sun Country or not. The flight attendents didn't even know if we'd be on one of their flights coming back(we were). Anyway...hope you found some of this info usefull and have a great trip!

We flew the 6AM flight in early June and it was on Air Jamaica and enjoyed the flight both to and from. We had the exact same plane both ways. We will definately do it next time as well. I think we got to the airport around 4AM if not a half an hour earlier. There was 26 of us at that time coming down together.
