Rainy weather credit??

Not to crazy of a question I guess.. I would never expect it, it isn't there fault. We just did our 8th trip to JA in Dec. It was the worst weather we have ever had. Had one of the coldest days JA has seen. Cold, windy, and rainy. But it was also one of the best, relaxing times we have ever had. We met lots of new people from all over the world, played games and just generally didn't care that it was raining. I laugh that I actually had to buy a sweatshirt. All I know is it wasn't WI and it wasn't snowing and I wasn't at work!!! Go relax and don't worry about the liquid sunshine! The staff will always make sure you have a good time regardless of the weather.

We went to another resort in Negril several years ago that had a policy of giving a refund (or maybe credit for future stay) for rainy days. So the question is perfectly reasonable. There are places that really did this. They may still do it.

In practice the rainy day refund was more of a gimmick, since whether or not it rained all day is pretty subjective. If there was 15 minutes of sunshine at 6:30am, then it hadn’t really rained all day. I think few people ever got the refund.

Anyway, the people who say that rain isn’t really a big problem are right on. It’ll probably still be warm. It usually doesn’t rain for more than a couple hours at a time and you’ll have plenty of fun stuff to do until the sun comes back out.

If I remember correctly, We went in June of 2009 and it rained everyday in afternoon but it was only for less than an hour, I liked it, gave us time to go into room, have sometime to reconnect and then by the time it was done, sun was OUT and back to BEACH. Enjoy even if it rains.

Jeez. Some chains actually do offer a weather guarantee so it's not that crazy of a thing to ask. The original poster wasn't being rude or anything. They weren't expecting or demanding a credit or anything like that. They were just asking a question.

I agree. Wear a baseball cap, get a fresh drink and sit in the hot tub. As long as there is not thunder and lightning they won't Couples won't make you get out.
Its very relaxing.
