Randymon, Villa Suites at CTI??

Hi Randymon,

Several years ago my neighbor, a travel agent, stayed at CTI and had a villa suite with private plunge pool. Recently on this board someone posted that he also stayed in a villa suite.
Why is there no information/pricing for this special category? Those accommodations might be a deal-MAKER for us since we don't care for the high rise feel of CTI. There is no mention or promotion of these units.
Can you please let us all in on the secret villa suites?

Call Couples and ask. They were Being done up and I don't think they have had prices up in an age.

We love our Premier rooms, but I'd like to know as well. I do know they were used for staging/staff during renovations, but what's up with them now?

On the last 3 trips to CTI (Dec'10, Dec'11 & July'12) we have seen these villas and they are non- functional as far as we could tell...

There were people staying in them July 2011, a bridal couple. Don't know about July, 2012, but there was a review fr April 2013.

The villas everyone are talking about are located behind the main building, next to the new SPA. They have been under renovation for a few years

If you are looking out the garden view rooms in the 3 block, the spa is to you're right, the villas are directly across the grass. You can see the buildings on the map. http://couples.com/tower-isle/map.php I swear they were not being used in 2010, but had been advertised in 1995 and 2000. I thought they had their own plunge pool too. Maybe its just a myth. We've always wanted to be by the water anyway.

We were just there, I did see the buildings, very close to the road.

Outside lights were on but we never did see anyone coming/going from these buildings. I thought they were for the staff.

the villa suites did, indeed, have private plunge pools. However, they have not been available for guests to use since the renovations. I know this because I just checked with Couples about 2 weeks ago
