Can Couples match a price that I am getting through an internet vacation site?

I know the answer to this question, as I recently asked it myself (to the couples hotline). Yes, they can match the price of the hotel from another site. No, they cannot match a flight/hotel package from another site.

If you are getting a better deal on another site, why not just use it? There is no advantage to booking through the couples website. And couples probably does not care, they are getting their $$ either way.
