I like the ride better to CTI than to CN, It's not so winding and you are along the coastline more. Sit back and enjoy the view. Have fun.

The road is fine. Nothing like it used to be. I can remember it taking us a little over 3 hours to get there, but now the roads are done and you sail right through. It is about a 90 minute drive. Have fun at CTI!!

The road to CTI is great and completed as of July. It will take you about 1.5 hours if you do not make a stop. It is all paved and goat free.

OMG much easier ride to Ochi, road is completed and it is a nice hwy in comparison to all the switchbacks on the road to Negril.

I have to say I kind of miss the old route a little bit. It wound through the center of some small towns that it now bypasses and stayed a little closer to the ocean in some other places. I feel like the old route offered a better feel for Jamaica than the current route does. That said, I really enjoy getting to CTI an hour and a half sooner, so I would not want to go back to the way it was.
