I have always had a fantastic time at CTI and never felt anyone was waiting or expecting a tip. I know they have a no tipping policy and I've never been made to feel like that is "optional". I do read TA reviews but I tend to look at it more as a whole. If, overall, the resort has good comments, I tend to go more with those than the negative ones. I like to read the negative ones, usually more for fun, to laugh at how unreasonable some people are.

So, like so many others have said, take the reviews with a grain of salt and trust what the majority or reviewers wrote and have a fantastic trip!

Hi, just so my original post doesn't seem confusing, the review I was referring to has been removed, it did seem as if they did't actually stay there. Too bad for them, 25 days for us, whoo hoo! Merry Christmas everybody.

It's all going to depend on the trip and the traveler. No matter how excellent a resort is, they will get good and bad reviews. And really, I think most are more apt to post if they have a bad experience, so those are going to stick out on TA. We just finished up a trip at CSS. Overall, we had an AMAZING time, but was Couples perfect? No. There were a few issues we encountered, but it would not deter us from going on another Couples trip. Issues we encountered--too slow service at Palazzino for dinner, and horrible nonexistent service at the night tennis courts. Other than that though, things were great. I think it's important for people to post the negatives as well, so everyone knows the real deal at places. it does not mean the guests are high maintenance, just telling it like it is.

I'm a travel agent. I've been to or have sent clients to thousands of locations around the world. Where do I take my personal vacations? Couples Negril.................nuff said.

Just remember that even paradise must have rain to keep on the vegetation lush.
