    How is the snorkeling on the Negril side compared to Ochos Rios?

    We have stayed at both CSA and CSS and are avid snorkelers (we snorkel every day, weather permitting, and we have our own equipment). If you are only snorkleing with the resort, then it is a toss up. The reefs at CSA are just as nice as the two we went to at CSS (CSS also has a sunken boat you can snorkel at). The variety of fish and coral is about the same.

    There are some off-site snorkeling tours that you can take, and we have heard that there are some very nice sites on the Ochi side, although we have not toured them.

    We love Jamaica, but it is not the snorkeling hot spot of the Caribbean. Having said that, either Ochi or Negril should meet your snorkeling needs.
