    Default Snow Cones...No Way!

Okay, am I seeing things or did someone say that they walk around with snow cones and bottles of Appleton rum at CSA??? What other perks do I have to look forward to???

Also, do we have bathrobes in the rooms? Loved them at CSS.

Where is the Martini Bar? Can't find it on the map.

Would anyone suggest heading to The Rockhouse for drinks or dinner? Really wanted to try this place. Love the looks of it.

Thanks for all your advice! July can't come soon enough!

I have never seen any snow cones at CSA. There is a soft serve ice cream machine though. Maybe they added one in the last 5 months though. I sure didn't see anyone walking around with any or any rum. The only rum I saw was at the bar or in the rooms.

There used to be bathrobes in the rooms all the times that we were there before but there were none in October in either of our rooms so I wonder if they stopped providing them.

There are snow cones, friut kabobs, drink of the day and a wonderful smelling cold towels that would be passed out on the beach once a day, Usally early. Not to mention a few time our favorite drinks were just brought to us, because Ruel saw we were empty.

    Two bathrobes in your room.

And the Martini Bar is above Plams.

Its going to be along 83 days.

They now have a shaved ice machine at the Beach Bar in the older section of the resort (closer to the Palms). They will add whatever flavor you want to the sno-cones, including lots of rum!

Yes, there are bathrobes in the rooms.

The Martini Bar is located above the Palms, near Lemongrass. Try the Key Lime Martini. Yum! Romaine makes the best martinis ever.

True story. The "grown-up" snow cones are AWESOME.

Yes, there are bathrobes in every room category.

Martini bar is upstairs from the Palms, same floor as Lemon Grass. Onique is THE BEST!!!

Can't say we've been there yet, since we can never pull ourselves away from Swept Away, but I've heard great things about Rock House.

    Have fun!

Rum snow cones? That is news to me.

Bathrobes will be hanging in the closet in your room.

Martini bar is upstairs from Palms, same building. Lemongrass is on this upper floor also.
    Love the martini bar!

Haven't been to the Rockhouse, but others have reported that it is well worth the time to go for dinner.

Yes, at around 10-10:45AM on the beach you'll find wait staff with snow cones (but there's no rum topping - just fruit flavored)....There's green flag service on the beach for rum drinks :-)

There are lovely light cotton robes in the rooms which we really enjoy. You'll love 'em at CSA too!!

And the Martini Bar is in the Palms. Go up the stairs and it is located at the top of the stairs....same floor as Lemongrass.

And we've never gone "off campus" for any food....we really enjoy the options at CSA. That being said, I've heard that the Rockhouse is really quite good and the location is very memorable.

    Enjoy your trip!!

It's hit or miss with the snow cones. The first year we didn't see snow cones or fruit kabobs, but last year, we had both. Both our visits were in May. :O) The snow cones were awesome!!!

Snow cones sound awesome! So let's see...there is an ice cream machine and a shaved ice machine. Is there a daquiri/colada dispenser by the bars too? I'm sure there's a better name for this that I can't think of, but there was one at another resort we went to, very convenient, could always add alcohol later.

While we were there last May they walked around with the snow cones in a little tray and a bottle of Appleton to pour over the top, this was usually after you had a healthy fruit kabob! The snow cones were so tasty and a great way to start your day.

    Default Hey Arkansas Girl

We will be there July 16-23rd. We have booked a BFVS and hope it's as good as it sounds! Stayed at CSS last July for the second time so we're hoping CSA is just as good!!

Look for the guy with a Boston Red Sox cap and I'll have on a straw cowboy hat. He's 6ft 4 and I'm 5ft 4. Hard to miss!! Hopefully we'll be sipping our rum snow cones!!
