Ditto what smoo72, exactly! These are all the reasons I work out on vacation same as at home. I normally only gain a pound or two total but I do not drink during the day and never sweet drinks. I limit myself to wine and the occasional martini.

Vacations should make one happy and missing my workouts would have the opposite effect.

Blue mountain coffee is served in the gourmet restaurant at each resort, but the rest of the restaurants (and room service) serve high mountain coffee.

We were at CSA the first week in February and almost every morning you had to get down on the beach before 9AM to ensure you got yourself a lounge chair. My advice would be to take your beach towels down before you go to breakfast and "reserve" your chair.

Some of the worst advice I've ever read. I'm surprised no one took you to task over it.

But save room for the tasty lunch at either the Cabana Grill or Sea Grapes.
Your not really telling us how to spend our vacation are you? For many of us missing a workout wrecks the entire day. My wife and I went to the gym every morning and LOVED it. I could not imagine going 7 days without working out.

I agree, the whole reserving beach chairs is BS. It should be first come first serve but only if you rear is in the chair, not your towel. I never had a problem finding a chair, but I did see alot of towels draped over empty loungers. I know people will keep doing it so there is not much that can be done.

Yup, one of the best parts of our vacation is having time to go to the gym every day. And CSA's gym is very well-equipped.

Seriously. Why are people so rude by chair-claiming?!

Reserve your chairs???? Now we know why this goes on...LOL

If peoples photos and names were on their towels I bet that nonsense would STOP right away

There are plenty of chairs to go around unless every single guest was on the beach all at once. Which isn't likely.

Why bother taking them to task? It wouldn't help, they're going to do it anyway.

I'm honestly trying to remember how we started our day - probably with a kiss and a smile. A couple of days we went over to the gym but I never did make it to the lap pool so this year I plan on swimming laps as I find it highly enjoyable. Most days, we got up, showered, put our suits and cover ups on, went to breakfast at the Palms. A couple of days, we got dressed in regular clothes so we could eat at Patois. But everything was just so relaxed. I don't remember bringing towels with us to breakfast so I can only assume we went back to the room for them which was fine because it gave us a chance to walk off breakfast a bit.
