    Default The Suitcases are Calling

I hear them everytime I go down to the utility room. I hear them whisper...here she comes, is she coming to get us, is it time? Twelve days to go and they are starting to feel the excitement and anticipation that is in the air. Soon they will be filled with swim suits and sandals, cameras and sunscreen. They will sigh with delight when they realize that it is time to go back to CSA!! Soon they will be brought upstairs and they will know that the time is near. Soon I will barely be able to concentrate on anything but heading back to paradise and seeing our wonderful friends once again. Soon we will lock the door and smile at each other as our long awaited trip home begins. Soon...

I kept telling Sylvia that I was not the only person who talked to their luggage. Or heard them calling. I know just how you feel.
It adds to the excitement of the long awaited trip. We still have 70 days to go. My carry-all friends haven't got a clue yet. But I'm expecting to hear from them very soon.

    Have a great time!!!

Suitcases are still hibernating here. I guess I should count the days. 48 for us. I love it when it gets to the double digit and less than 60. First time to CTI.

Our cases are screaming at us from the cold attic but it's still too early to bring them down. April soon come!

Northern gal: Your post makes me We will be HOME at CTI in 8 more days. My suitcases are starting to hum. I've been "gathering" for a coupla weeks now. Just picked up some Kit Kat and Twix minis to take and give, the school supplies are stacked, my new flip-flops arrived today (2 pair), and if I smile any bigger, my mouth will just fall off my face! Doesn't take much to get us goin does it? Be kind to your suitcases. Sun_princess

It's still hockey season here in Illinois. At least it gives us something to do on the weekends. Our youngest is playing Junior A this year and it helps to pass the time.

    23 more days until CSA!!

I hear them when I check to see if the laundry fairy has paid a visit (I think she's on strike)... so far they're only emitting a faint mumble... they know its still February. But as soon as tax day arrives, they'll start to kick up the volume a bit until I have to get them up.

As we walked thru Sears checking out some items we walked by the luggage area.

Two nice pieces of luggage called out to me and said "Let us be your new Jamaica friends."

With that a new bond was created which made Jean all smiles as she left them out to become acclimated to their new home and to begin her long fun task of "What to bring to Jamaica come April."

Oh did I say we're ready to go tomorrow!

Ya 65 days to go. BUT we are ready!

    Default 7 days

As I look over my shoulder I can hear my suitcases calling.. They are still somewhat empty, but all around them are bags and piles of things to get neatly packed for our return trip home in 7 days. And I hear Kirk's voice in my head "Welcome Home Love". Such wonderful memories, and staff that are like family. *contented smile*

I am counting down the days myself! We leave for fabulous CSA in 25 days and I can not wait. I have had a pile of clothes gathering for a week or so already. We have not been to CSA but spent a weekend at CN last march. Looking forward to meeting some new people while there. Anyone else who will be at CSA between Feb 28 and March 7, see you in a couple weeks!

What a night! Couldn't get the suitcases to settle down and stop chatting about CSA. They are all packed and in the spare room. Giggling and chatter going on all night! But then again, I too was having trouble sleeping...alot of excitement in the air in this house. Four more sleeps and we will be there. I should apologize in advance to all the other luggage that will be on our flights because there won't be any napping going on in that luggage compartment. It is going to be hard to get through the next few days. Will be driving everyone crazy at work and then will come home to the suitcases asking "Are we leaving now, is it time, is it, is it. SOON!

Oh Northern Gal I know what you mean, 3 weeks for us! That's a mere 21 days. We are trying CTI this year. Today, I am bugging hubby to pull those suitcases down from the storage shelf!!! Our suitcases have some extra chatter company this year though, as my son and his girlfriend are coming with us this year. Just can't wait.

Default And I thought it was time to increase my medication

Good to hear others are involved with luggage . My wife and I packed our suitcases today. We leave Friday at 5:30 AM from Boston for CTI. Our first couples vacation and our first vacation of more than a day or two for business without the kids. Can't wait to leave the fireplace for the beach!
