Trading places?

Does anyone know if you can trade places from Negril to Ocho Rios? I feel like I read before that you can't but I just wanted to be sure!

No, you can't. It's a 2-1/2 to 4 hour drive each way. You leave your resort at 10:00 AM and return at 4:00 PM. That would leave very little time at the other resort anyway.

Nope, the Trading Places is CSA/CN and CTI/CSS. If you want to visit one of the resorts in OR from Negril or vice versa, you can, but you will need to arrange your transportation and purchase a day pass ($150 pp).

You only have the option to trade places with the other Negril resort. I believe Negril and Ocho Rios are three hours apart so it would be impossible (or at least a lot of travel time) to trade places for a day.

Not possible and you wouldn't want to do it. The trip is 2 1/2 to 3 hours long each way. You'd spend 5-6 hours on the bus and only a couple hours at the resort. I'm sure that is the reason why they only offer it to sister resorts in the same city.
