waiting/searching for a good deal

ever since DH and i decided on Coupes for our in-between vacation (we normally go in Winter and Spring, but want to take a nice one in-between two jobs for me), we've been lurking and posting on here and could not be more excited to go in Sept. however, because this vacation is somewhat unplanned for us, we are on a budget for it. i've been playing with dates, etc but can't seem to find a good deal for us.

is there a chance that the Wed deal tomorrow or next Wed could be for Sept? or are they usually further out in time?
also, when approximately would Sept secret deals come out?
lastly, is going for 5 days really worth it? i mean, it IS 5 days in paradise and all, but i feel like 2 of those would be spent on travel and that'd make me very sad....

any tips on deals and budgets would be greatly appreciated!

We went for 5 days last year and it was good....esp if you leave early enough to get in pretty early in the day, and still be able to enjoy your evenings...you're tired but you can sleep later. The last day for me, travel doesn't matter...it is a given. But it depends on where you are coming from..we are flying from Charlotte so it is a little over 2.5 hours for us.

Hi Pinkcloud. I'm traveling from Baltimore as well. If you check Expedia, Travelocity and Priceline, there are some really nice deals out there. We fly non-stop from BWI on AirTran and it's a nice flight. We were just at CSA in Nov 2009 and then again in April 2010. I've already booked another Nov. 2010 trip for CSA. I booked it in May and I've noticed that the prices have slightly decreased since then. You should take a look. Good Luck!!!

Then you should be great....if you can get a flight that leaves early you can still be there by 1-3 and you don't lose that day at all. We left last year at 1130 and didn't get to the resort til about 430 and were really tired and didn't get to enjoy the first day as much. This year we leave at 930 and should be at the resort by about 2 so we can get a short nap and still have the entire evening so we really don't lose that day.

You will love it. Price wise and inclusion wise...Couples stands well out from the crowd. I didn't find much better prices on expedia or travelocity or anything else and the flight/hotel with Couples was exactly the same price as booking the two separately. We had to do that though because I couldn't get the flight combo we wanted but since price didn't matter, it wasn't a big issue for us. Good luck,

Nick and I had a 5 day trip to CN last December. It was well worth it. We had been to CTI for the grand re-opening in April and couldn't take more time. Go and enjoy!

Did you look at the Secret Rendezvous? No one knows what the Wednesday deals will be besides Randy himself. The nice thing about Couples is if you book and a better deal comes up most times there is no charge to change your reservation. But unless you have a specific resort in mind, I would go with the Secret Rendezvous.

Have you checked for the "Secret Rendezvouz"?
