Default We need help! CTI vs CSA or both???? We are desperate!

    Hi,

We are Jimmy and Dena Holden from Fort Lewis, WA and are planning on taking our belated honeymoon in July of 2010! We are so excited, and for the life of us, CANNOT decide between CTI or CSA or both. We are looking for a suite close to the beach (preferably one that we can walk right out on the beach...or does that matter?), the best restaurants available, and a place with the most activities. We are in our late 20s and enjoy socializing, eating great food, and playing in the water. We like the aspect of CTI being close to the excursions, but we also like CSA's rooms and how it looks. We were also interested in possibly staying at both. If you could please reply with any recomendations, we would totally appreciate it! We cannot wait to hear from you!!!

If you can go for at least 10 days I say definitely do both! Our first trip was a split between those 2 resorts and I felt it was a perfect first trip. I'd go to CTI first and do the excursions and then head to CSA. I'd even still consider doing it if you can't go for at least 10 days,as long as you have at least 3 days at each resort. That way you can see which one you want to return to first. And you will be returning..

    Hi Jimmy and Dena,

What a decision to make!! We've been to CTI and will be going to CSA this April. If you're looking for a suite where you can walk right out on the beach then my thought would be CSA. CTI is a high-rise resort with a small beach where CSA would afford a larger beach to stroll with a more spacious resort. Excursions at CTI include horseback riding, Dunn's River Falls and the catamaran cruise. We've heard that the sunsets at CSA are immaculate while the only place you can see a sunset at CTI is at the end of the pier. One significant difference is that CTI has Tower Isle, with its Au Natural sunbathing, while CSA doesn't allow for that. We are doing a split stay in April between CSA and CSS. Doing something like that between CSA and CTI might be a good option, depending on how much time you'll be able to spend there. If you'd like to see pictures of CTI you can check out ones we've taken here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ecsimson/. Hope this helps you in making your decision!

We did CTI and CSA years ago when Couples offered the "Double Take" and we really enjoyed seeing both. It was our first time to Ocho Rios and to Negril so we liked seeing both sides of the island. The resorts have very different feels but each is wonerful. I liked CSA more DH liked CTI so we both won!
