Week long Sec. Rendev. SALE?

Last year I booked a SR, during a week long SR sale in September 2010 and traveled Dec 2010? Was that a once in a lifetime deal, or will it happen again? I want to travel in December, 2011 but hesitating to book to get the SR deal!!! Last year we booked 5 nights through SR, with one layover, for $2100, all said and done. We were assigned CTI and loved it, however right now its $3500 for CTI and air for 7 days? Whew!

If you book through Couples, you can book now and if a better deal comes along and it is greater than 45 days out from your stay, then you can cancel and rebook without any penalty, but any 'extras' (resort credits) you received with your original booking does not carry forward with your new booking unless those 'extras' are being offered with the new deal.

If you are booking through a search engine or a TA, then you need to check with them on their cancellation/re-booking policy. Most do charge a fee.
