What to wear on ATV excursion

Hi Folks:

If you are going on an ATV excursion in Negril, what do you wear? Specifically, should my wife and I bring long pants for this sort of thing or will shorts be adequate? I ask because in Mexico we were told that we would be pretty much covered in mud at the end of the trip.

We're leaving for Negril on Sunday. Can't wait!

My husband wants to book the ATV tour when we are at CSA in May. Can you tell me who you booked with and how much it cost. Is the tour in Negril area? I would also like to know about what we wear. From looking at pictures it seems like you get pretty dirty.

We went on this tour back in 2005 and it was the best tour of all the ones we did. I recommend everyone do this, you will love it. We just wore tank tops and shorts. It was very dry when we went and you don't go through much brush or anything like that. It would have been way too hot to wear long pants. It may be different now but a good pair of shoes with tank top and shorts was good enough for us.

Chukka Tours ATV operations. We thought it was an amazing adventure(educational too)! Certainly bring a towel, YOU WILL GET FILTHY(mud).

How long is the bus ride from Negril? We did the zip line tour a few years ago and if I recall, we rode almost all the way back to Montego Bay for that. Also, are these all single rider machines or do they have two-ups available as well? Looking forward to coming home to CN on 4/18 after a REALLY long three year wait. THAT is not going to happen again. Thanks for any help!
