Hi Doug n Chris, Was the last picture the view from your room. Did you have a corner, first floor room? The view looks great.

We stayed in a 3rd floor Garden Verandah Suite right next to the Great House. It did have some road noise and also some noise in the morning from the staff. They use that back path for transporting their supplies. Despite those negatives, we loved it. I would book the same again. BTW we had a great view of the ocean.
    Cheers!

Hi marymp. The picture was taken from inside the room and it was a first floor corner room.

We have stayed in an Ocean Verandah and an Atrium Suite. I would choose the Atrium, no question about it and I would do so even it it were the more expensive room. It is so much more romantic and Jamaican. Love the hammock. Love the wooden slats over the windows. And the grounds are so much more lush on the older side.

Hi Doug n Chris, I love the room you had. Did you have a lot of people walking back and forth. From what I can see from the MB most people prefer the second or third floor because of that, but we requested a first floor room. Also, was your room closer to the middle of the resort or closer to the pool with the swim up bar? I think there is more traffic by the pool from what I read. Thanks so much for your help.

We had room 3316. It is an OVS. Third floor corner unit. It was private and have had two views of the beach. Good luck deciding. Next time we are staying in a GVS to stay an extra night.

If they told me I could have any room on the resort I would pick room 2136(I think). It is a Beachfront Suite and is the first floor room closest to the new section. It has one of those HUGE wrap around porches and looks to be very private for a first floor room. Since, they don't let you pick your room number I would probably stick with the GVS that we have been staying in.

    Default Garden verandah!

We've only been once & stayed in a Garden Verandah. We thought it was great & will be in another in May. It had a mini bar & a plenty-big patio. We were on the 3rd floor, right next to the Great House. We could see the ocean from our room, but we also had a nice view of a garden area. The road noise was hardly noticeable & not really even worth mentioning. We loved it!

We love the Oceanview Verandah suites. Since they usually don't take specific room requests, we usually just request a room on a higher floor on an end. This gives you more windows in the room and what I consider a little larger balcony. Good luck choosing.

    Default Antrim is excellent

We just got back from Couples Swept Away and stayed in the Antrim rooms (the basic least expensive) room 1101. Seeing that we have never been to Jamaica before or even to a resort before we thought the room was excellent. Located in "the jungle" surrounded by palm trees was nice because it was quiet and shady. Yes our rooms were probably the furthest away from the beach/restaurants but we are talking a very short walk the distance you would from your car to the mall when in a parking lot.

Pros: basic, least expensive, just what you need.
Cons: a little noisy, we could hear all the traffic at night speeding down the street.

Some people got Antrim rooms with hammocks, we didn't, wish we did cause we love hammocks and probably would of even slept overnight in one.

Since CSA closes all its bars except in the restaurants, having the minibar would have been nice. We were excited to NOT have a tv in our room. All the rooms have wireless but our laptops stayed at home, there's a 24/7 computer room with like 20 computers in it.

Pay extra for the beach view if that is important to you. Pay extra for a jacuzzi if that is important to you. Otherwise get the Antrim room and stay for an extra day or two!!!

We stayed in BfVS 3121 and loved it. Gorgeous views and right on the beach. I have a link to pictures in my signature.

It was P.E.R.F.E.C.T.! Large patio, hammock, couch, ceiling fan inside and out, large room, large closet - it was exactly the type of room I want when I'm some place tropical.

I was in room 2124 and had an ocean view. It wasn't beachfront type view but I could see the beach and the ocean and it was a few short steps away which was actually better considering the main walkway along the beach is pretty busy with foot traffic--for mid-day naps, hanging on the porch reading, or whatever

I have a video of the room and of the view that I haven't uploaded but if you want to see them let me know and I'll email them to you
sure can you email it to us @ 2bbs@wi.rr.com

    thank you

Bicycleman - room 1101 is a "Garden Suite" not an Atrium. All the Atriums have hammocks - just to reassure all those who have booked an Atrium.

No that can't be right. We were in an Ocean Verandah, first floor on the corner. According to the CSA map, we were in Building #13 and it shows that those room numbers are 4109-4312. It's definitely possible I'm forgetting my room number, but the map has the number too. Hmmmmm....the map could have a typo though.

I love the atrium rooms cause youre on the beach all day anyway and when you walk back to the room with all the foliage you come into a different environment that is quiet/serene. Weddings going on at the alter(2218) right outside the balcony. If you had an OCF room there wouldnt be much need to walk back there,so I like the change of scenery and oh yeah If we really needed a drink its not that far and no I dont need T/V!!!!!!

We have always booked a garden verandah, just love the large private patio. The sound of the tree frogs at night has always drowned out any road noise. We found if you close the bathroom door at night the street noise is not a issue.(We live in the country and never hear street noise)3105 is right next to a pond and the porch is completely private on both sides with beautiful flowering foliage, and kitties looking for a little cream from your morning breakfast tray which is delivered right to your porch. There even is a sliver of beach view from the verandah even though it is on the 1st floor .Did I mention that it is a corner room too !!! But with all that said the next trip we make we will stay in the cheapest room they have so we can stay longer !(I'll even wash dishes).

Log into your Romance Rewards account and check out your points transactions. The last column on the right provides your room number. If your visit to CSA occurred after Couples switched to the new RR program in 2007, you should be able to confirm your room number from your trip to CSA.

Thanks, Pamela!! That totally worked! We were in Room 4109 at CSA and it was an Ocean Verandah. And G10 at CSS the year before and 304 at CTI the year before that, if anyone was wondering
