CN is just lovely even during the rare afternoon rain.

We celebrated our 40th Anniversary at Couples Negril and it was the best vacation we have ever had.
(in 40 years!!) We will surely return next year with our 6 grown children. Thanks for the memories!!

The first picture is from when we first arrived, after the quickest and smoothest check in I've every experienced. We were greated with the warmest welcoming and wonderful champagne! We took our champagne and walked down to the beach and I had to capture our first look at the beach...

The second pitcure doesn't do this hibiscus flower justice. It was the size of a volley ball! The grounds were beautifully manicured and I have sooo many pictures of the beautiful lanscaping that was taken care of daily (and in the most discreet manor). We stayed in an Beachfront Verandah Suite and it was so worth it, but we did walk the whole resort to get a feel for the other rooms, and the gardens were just as beautiful as the beach!!

The third picture is my abosolute favorite. One of the many included services were photographers that walked the beaches during the day and the restuarants in the evenings. You had the opportunity to purchase the photos they took or even book a free photoshoot! My bf and I booked a time at sunset and took endless photos. When the photographer told us to do whatever we'd like for the last pose, my boyfriend just scooped me up and ran into the water! You can't help but be romantic and loving in such a fun and beautiful atmosphere!!

Celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary with a romantic private beach dinner.

On our last morning of our stay at CN this year, I took a camera along as I said good bye to the less obvious creatures that make Jamaica special ....



and I saw a heart in the leaves and twigs and sand...and knew this was meant to be shared...



and I left with a vision of beauty that will stay in my heart till we return to our Jamaican home again.

Visiting Couple Swept Away offers one the opportunity to see Jamaica's national bird, the "Doctor Bird". The "Doctor Bird", more formerly known as the Red Bill Streamer Tail Hummingbird, is one of the most beautiful hummingbirds.

The name "Doctor Bird" came from the locals because it's flowing tail feathers looked like the long tailed coats that the physicians wore in the "olden days".

This magnificent bird can be seen swooping about the flowers, gathering nectar while its tail float in the breeze.
