Thread: anyone else 2011? Or are we just crazy?

still do not have my pro pics but here are some taken with the photographers cell phone and posted on her facebook.

not sure what ones I posted I tried to post more then 5 oops , some are taken in the mineral grotto (which was freezing but felt so good since I was so hot) and some are taken in a tree I got stuck in. (I have a bad knee so I have to be careful how I place my weight on it so that made it difficult to get out of the tree lol)

Today is Aug 6 HAPPY WEDDING DAY ASH!

Hi All!!! I'm not going to write much bc we're still at csa, but i wanted to send you the link of our photos. We had a perfect day!!! We did a 2 hr reception in the Aura lounge that was amazing!!!! I would totally reccomend that to anyone.

Thanks for the pictures you guys! Less than two months to go and all paid up! So excited. I've made up our OOT bags and currently painting wine glasses like crazy for our reception.

I know! And I have so much going on besides preparing for my wedding between now and then! Labor Day weekend is huge at my parents campground (I always go and help out), I have a cousin's wedding to go to 20 hours away and its moose hunting season in a couple of weeks (I know I'm odd...I hunt :-) Plus there is getting prepared for the reception (doing most of it myself). I read your review and loved it by the way!

@ash- They posted your review on FB! How awesome was that! Great job exactly the stuff we all needed to hear. I'm so excited for you! Whens the return trip planned for??

@Jessica- Hand painted wine glasses? for what? is that your gift to everyone? WOW Where did you get those soo cheap? What are you putting on them and how many do you have to do?

Just thought I would let you 2011 girls know that my marriage license arrived today via UPS. so exciting!

Hi Everyone I am new to the message board and new to the couples resort!! My fiancé & I are getting married at CTI on 12.28.2011 We are so excited!!! Does anyone have any good ideas for pictures there?

Welcome Lisamariefl! Ash or Sun may have been to that resort and can give you suggestions..... I'm sure that what every picture you have taken will be BEAUTIFUL!!!! My first couples visit and marriage is CSA so i'm going with that thought process!!! Good Luck and welcome to the BIG club!!!

Sarah- Thank you! i was shocked that they posted that! I really thought i was rambling! lol We are PRAYING that we win the photo contest because we'd love to be able to go back to jamaica next summer (since we have 3 nights free already ... another 3 free nights would make us HAVE to go back)... if we don't win then we prob wont be back for a longggg time. Our basement was distroyed by the hurricane and we have to put about 10k into getting it a 'living space' again. Ugh!!

My fingers are crossed ASH that you win the 3 free nights. thats horrible news about your basement. Was it from flooding? Where I live we are not affected by hurricanes at all but sometimes we get the tail end of the weather system, and have a lot of rain for a few days, but never any damage. I think in the 1950's Hurricane Hazel came thru Ontario, which would of been very rare. I remember hearing stories growing up about the damage it did in Toronto and my parents would talk about how scared they were huddled in a corner at the cottage.

I'm making the glasses for the reception when I get back to Canada. I ended up making 120 in all and was able to buy them at Walmart for cheap. I ended up using my invitation colors (aqua blue, brown and silver) Its a branch running along the glass and a maple leaf in the center with a C in the middle (my fiance's initial) and on the bottom the month and year of the wedding.
