CSS-best room location

Hi guys,
We are really looking forward to our CSS break in 24 days time for 12 glorious days. This is our first trip to CSS and are wondering which block is best. We shall spend daytimes at the sunset pool and the evenings in the balloon bar. We don't mind steps and will almost relish the additional activity these will entail. I am concerned that some reviews suggest the rooms are a bit tired. Have some blocks been refurbed recently perhaps. We have a verandah suite - are the balconies private ? Any suggestions from you repeater guests please,

Blocks D & E are the most centrally located (putting them between Sunset Beach and the Balloon Bar). Block G, in our humble opinion, affords the best views but is further from the beach. We were there in April and didn't notice the rooms looking "tired". Yes, the balconies are private (seperated from your neighbors). Get ready to be pampered by the wonderful staff at CSS!!
