How to post to a different thread, corking fee, calendar

Hi,

I am having difficulty in posting a question to a category other than "Help and Instructions". How do I do this?

My other question is there a "corking fee" if we bring our own wine to dinner. Will be attending Couples Swept Away in December 2009.

Is the calendar private or public? Also how do I put an event on the calendar? I get an error message regarding permissions.
