I would also be nice in the profile to have a general space where users could tell others more about themselves. Such as....this many times to this resort, when we're going next, etc. It doesn't need to be a drop down menu with questions, just a blank space to add anything they would like to share. Thanks again for this great forum!

I was thinking the same thing Mandy. Great minds think alike.

For the main and sub-forum areas, is it possible to use a template that puts a thin line between topics to add separation? The threads look a bit jumbled like this, but it isn't entirely too bad.

Sorry, forgot my example and can't edit since the post is in the approval queue.

    Here's my example: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/

Any word on Private Messaging? This could provide a more secure way to share email addresses than posting for all the spam-bots to see in open forum.

    KrisJamie,

I asked the same question and here is the response from Randymon:

On your profile page, there is a box called ABOUT ME. Click the edit tab to the right of it.

One thing that this program needs to incorporate is the ability to rearrange the order you can place albums and pictures in. At present it becomes last one posted is first seen.

Just wanted to bring this up one more time now that more folks are coming on board with us. Any thoughts, admins?

Yahoo and MSN group sites all offer picture albums and one of the features was the ability to rearrange albums and photos.

Unless that feature of drag and drop rearrangement is incorportated then the user must note that the last picture posted will become your first one in the album. For some it may not mean anything but for those who want some form of order it is difficult to maintain. I'm not sure if Flicker or the others have that same feature or not.

Firefox has spellcheck built in and it works on any fill in form/website.
For IE search and install the IE Spell plug in.
    There... all bases covered.

    Cheers,

Either my eyes are getting better or you changed the color to a better one for telling when you have read a message. Thanks!

Oh yeah... Two more things. As previously stated editing of posts enabled, and the option (on/off) to automatically subscribe to a post/thread if you post there.

    Thanks,
    Tom

Edit fixed... Thanks Disregard subscribe. I found the setting in User CP.

I'm not sure that editing posts works "out of the box" with a moderated forum.

Is there a way to increase the overall font size of the board?

I may have missed this as I've only been looking at the new MB for about an hour, but is there a way to search as we could previously on our usernames? The feature that you could enter your username and password and it would show you all messages that you hadn't read yet?

Thanks - the new message board looks nice... will definitely take some time to get used to.
