Hey everybody!!!

I will go ahead and start the thread with all the names and dates.... Its always fun to see who you are going to be vacationing with!! Hi Becky, We are also from the Quad Cities. We always seem to miss you when we are there. Never have met you. Maybe this year? We are Greg and Margene and are going to CN for the 6th time from Oct 16th to the 23rd. We can't seem to stay away. With all the snow we are getting, I wish I was there right now. I love this list that you put together every year. Its work for you but appreciated by many. Thank you.

Question for anyone who has been there for Halloween Does anybody dress up? Does the resort do anything?

Back in 2006 we were there over Halloween. I did not see anybody dressed up, but maybe somebody that has gone in more recent years can help better answer that question. They did have pumpkin carving/design on the boardwalk one afternoon.

Hi Everyone! I had a quick question. i keep reading that snorkeling is included at CN. Have any of you ever done it? Is it fun? I've always wanted to do it but Bill is not a big water guy, so i would have to do it by myself...i'm just wondering what everyone thinks or if it's something you guys are planning to do while you are down there. THANKS! 209 days to go for us! YAY!

Just booked Oct 21 to Oct 29, 2011. First timers celebrating our 15th anniversary at CN. Really looking forward to a relaxing vacation.

Hi Lori -
... Yes, snorkeling is included 2 times per day, you just sign up a day in advance. If Bill is unsure, its fine... He can go and try it, if he isnt comfortable he can just get back on the boat and wait, or if your like me, Fred dives, I do not.. Diving and snorkeling go out around the same times. So I just go snorkeling they do not mind having "singles" on the boat. Your usually gone about 45min to 1hr. Looking at your dates, we will be there at the same time... So we can go out together!! It's fun!

Becky that sounds fantastic!! I really would like to experience it, but going with someone else is always more fun. I'm working on getting a picture of Bill and I up here so you can find us when we get there. we'll probably be at the bar Can't wait!!!!

So after reading and reading these boards I gave in and decided to sign up. My husband and I are from TN will be there October 8th leaving on the 14th. This will be our first trip to CN, first stay in Jamaica at a resort and we are very excited. We did our first all inclusive last year in December to a Secrets Resort in Mexico and were very disappointed. Looking forward to all the wonderful things we have read about CN especially the staff and the vibe of the resort.
