Thread: March Maniacs 2012!

Jill & I will be back home 18-28 March. Coming from Southern Maryland. 3rd trip to CN (Feb 10, Mar 11) and 4th to Jamaica. Looking forward to meeting new friends and seeing old friends (we hope some are there).

my wife and I have been to the island many times and this is the first CN visit I was hoping to throw a surprise BDAY party while @ CN would you mind assisting as I dont want here to see any decorations or such if your interested it can be your BDAY party too arriving 3/17 party will be 3/22 interested?

andy&kitty, what is your departure date from Couples so I can add you to the calendar. I'm sorry we will miss the big birthday celebration. Maybe you can call or email Couples about helping you with the surprise party.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I have a sneaking suspicion that our turkey was recently imported from Jamaica...

we are arriving 17/3-24/3, kitty and I have stayed at CTI several times and will miss seeing those special friends that we have made over the years there and Negril holds a special place in our hearts (married on 7 mile beach) looking forward to making as many new friends at CN as we have made @ CTI, and cannot wait to walk on that beach again. We've initiated a lot more Maniacs during your absence - you've met Vince and Crystal above.... Dan and Cathy - Jim and Barb --where are you?!?!? I'll have to go roust them up from Facebook, ha!

Nice to hear from you. We've decided on a change of scenery this year and are going to St. Lucia...we will definitely miss the awesome scenery at CN. I personally really hope we can return to CN next year.

Hey Rhonda! I was wondering what took you so long! I already added you to the calendar after talking to Mark earlier on FB. It's been a couple years since we were together at CTI. We are lookng forward to seeing you guys again. Rustle up them other folks! We may also have another Maniacs couple recruits to the left-hand side coming at the same time.

Is it too soon to get on the list for March 2013 We were at CN this past March...Heading back to Negril next week!, taking our teenage boys with us this time, so we'll be staying next door at the RIU. Gonna be very sad to walk past CN every morning

Hi, We will be at CN March 3rd 2012 for two weeks ! This is our 5th visit to Couples Negril, and 6th visit to Jamaica. Don't want to wish our life away, but looking forward to returning to meet with friends.

Arrive 3/12/11 thru 3/17/11. Excited to get back there after 25 years. Looking forward to some much needed R&R and celebrate our anniversary.

stevejules...two weeks is awesome! Though if I were there that long, I'd be afraid that I'd gain about 20 pounds. And that's weight, not money!

Kevin and Vickie...I don't think you'll be disappointed at CN. We love CTI on that side of Jamaica, but CN is a great alternative.

Hurraybeer...sorry, but my calendar doesn't quite span into March 2013. Enjoy your time with your kids before they want nothing to do with you. Hopefully we'll bump into you and have a chance to meet.

Rhonda...last time I heard from Kerry & Shelli, they said they might be going somewhere else with some friends, but if they did come ot Couples, they'd probably go to CSA. We gotta get Lisa going on the board here!

We have booked!! Friday March 9 to 16. Only 7 days this year. I have a new job and don't have that much time off yet for 10 days. I guess that we don't have to buy each other a Christmas Gift agian this year. Can't wait......76 days to go!

Ed - can't wait to see you and Diane again! Will Mark have his scuba buddy, and I my "hat" buddy as well (Keith and wife?)

Anyone planning any certain activities or excursions this year?

Mark and I are once again going to make a supply drop off to Sandy Bay Basic School -- anyone else wanting to come with us, let me know! It's a heartwarming trip and we usually let Gregg (our driver) pick some other neat places to stop along the way!
Also thinking about doing the Pelican Bar again during our stay - it was an experience!

I don't like "planning" too many things while at the resort, but the school is always a must for us, and I love getting out at least one day and seeing the "real" Jamaica and experiencing new things!

I'll try to remember and post some pictures of our previous outings this evening from home.

Wife and I will going March 3-10. Our first visit to Negril. We stayed at Couples TI 20 years ago. Breezes Runaway Bay a few times. Really looking forward to this trip.

Just 2 months from today!! About to begin the pre-CN tanning to prevent the sunburn during those looong days at the beach! Looking forward to meeting a lot of new folks and have a couple coming in a few days after us that will make the trip over the top! Can't wait!!!
