Thread: March Maniacs 2012!

Beachwed- the AN beach at CSS was actually the reason we originally chose it over CN for our first trip (and our second!) this will actually be our first "public" AN experience. I've got to admit I'm a teeny bit nervous, but I'm sure that will all be gone as soon as I'm on the beach with a dirty banana in my hand! I'll be sure to look for our fellow maniacs when we arrive!

(No idea who these folks are really but you get the idea)

The Single digit dance begins!!! We signed up right after last year, it was almost 365 when we booked and now it's single digit, I can't believe it!
King JJ, thanks for the drinking glossary...could be I'll fit most of those at one time or another! Maybe more than once a day. Got a text the other day from a couple joining us (batman and his sidekick in NB) that the temp was 85 oh yea! Anyone else long for that, "gonna be a hot, hot , hot" resounding voice? What about that first view as you enter the check-in, the pool and ocean right in front of you...as you sip the champagne and put that cold towel on your kneck! Oh please, put us in building #6 again, maybe 9, but it really won't matter..
Already done the precheckin thing so our frig will be stocked, now we have to stream line the packing...I have a huge amount just for Nancy that I plan to pack, do you guys do that too. Anyhow, we look forward to a fast 9ish days!

Wish we were in the same single digit dance. Kelly and I wont be there till April 20. I remember it like it was yesterday talking the place up to you two. Next thing I know you booked a year in advance! Enjoy! Cant wait to hear how great it was.

I just looked at my countdown calendar and we're finally down to single digits. We will be there March 10-18 celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary. We were married last year at this time on the beach at CN. We look forward to relaxing on beach with all of you

375 days for us. Bob & Nancy, you guys will have so much fun. I would love to see both of you and Tamara and Tim too. Leon and Kelly, how are things in Boston? Colorado is crawling out of winter at a snails pace. All of you enjoy a dirty banana and Red Stripe for Mark and I. Maybe we'll see you in March 2013!

We have not had much really cold weather and hardly any snow this year, and it's not like I need any motivation to go to Jamaica, but it always nice to leave the bitter cold weather behind, so I was hoping for some bad weather. Well I woke up to this in my backyard yesterday morning....

LeeandD...come hang out with all of us on when you arrive on St. Patty's Day. You might wake up the next morning already on the nude beach. Problem solved! Don't worry...you'll just feel like a caged animal at a zoo, on display with nowhere to hide from the gawkers. Just kidding! It's really not bad at all. It actually can be fun watching the expressions on the passers-by. Otherwise, you can go further back from the water and you will hardly notice them at all.

Anyone else already booked for next year? As soon as I saw Randymon's post I booked the aniversary week again for 2013. Junkie, the wifes name is Corinne. Can't wait... just 8 more days!!!

Hey we've had a spot open up on the Pelican Bar trip --- anyone else decide to come along?!

9 Days!!! Now we understand about the single digit dance! JJ, hate it that we will miss St. Patty's day as we will be leaving that day. Maybe we can have some green eggs and ham that morning before we leave. Enough of thinking about the end of the trip...can't wait for the sun, drinks and fun!!

We are Tim and Tamara from Nebraska. We will be at CN from 3/17-3/23 for our 4th year in a row. Can't wait to meet up with our Jamaican friends Bob and Nancy (kiddo). Looking forward to another great trip. It's been a really long year and we are so ready, the countdown is on, 11 days and counting!!!!!!!!!!

I polished up my twisted palms pendant last night and re-re-reviewed what I'm bringing (my OCD keeps me out of trouble!) I have 1 1/2 days left at work then I'm freeeeee! Looking foward to being "home" again soon - 4th year in row for us now at CN!

We will be taking Tim Air -- I'll ask Curtis to fly over and waggle his wings at yall before we land!! LOL

Here is a picture of Paul and Cindy from Minnesota. We will be at CN March 24-31 and looking forward to some fun in the sun, scuba diving and relaxing! We may also do a trip to the Pelican Bar and YS Falls if anyone else wants to join us.

We'll try to add a photo.......look for us on the beach

LeeandD - PB trip is on the 15th, before you get in -- bummer! I believe Paul and Cindy are trying to do a trip over as well, but they don't get in until the 24th -- might cut it close for you!

For anyone going on the Pelican Bar trip (with us, or otherwise) -- I would suggest wearing water shoes - flip flops can be tricky when they get wet!!

Paul and Cindy - that's a great picture of you two!! Sorry we'll miss you this year!

Sorry...I just had to release some excitement. 6 Days until I drink that first Red Stripe at the Couples airport lounge, signaling the start of another memorable vacation. We are looking forward to meeting as many of you as we can.

Rhonda...who is currently on board for the Appleton/PB tour? That is going to be fun. And dangerous!

TexPanCpl, maybe we'll begin celebrating St. Patty's Day a day early. I mean, 24 hours just doesn't seem enough! It certainly deserves more than a Dr. Seuss breakfast special.

Speaking of St. Patty's Day, I hope we can meet up with a bunch of you for possibly dinner and drinks. I think I'm all set for the festivities. I've got a new party shirt, beads, glow rings, green paint, temporary tattoos, and my lucky boxers. Those lucky boxers seemed to work at my last St. Patty's Day at Couples...

Stuck at work for only 2 more hours then I'm free! Going to listen to reggae, fill up my IPod with some cool jams and just chill until we fly the friendly skies bright and early (EARLY as in leave the house by 3:00 a.m.!!!) on Saturday morning.

Rhonda - you guys still planning the group dinner on 3/10? We might be too beat to function that night (Crys and Vin get in that day too). I hope we can all get together at Othehite one night! I plan on dropping off our "stuff" in our room then heading over to the spa to book a couples massage for the next morning - the only way to start a proper vacation!

3 days to go and only 2 more days in work
