Thread: "Must Have" Drink List - give em to me

I know I've read that the bartenders are great and they are good at doing "surprise" drinks. I know they will have some of the top shelf liquors, beers, etc.

But what are the "must have" drinks that I need to try.

I've been warned about the Bob Marleys, but will try at least one (will I be able to stop?)

I'm not much of a drinker but on vacation I like to have fun . . so give me your lists!

order of my favorite

if any of these contain rum, order them with appleton rum

1) dirty banana---pretty much a real banana milkshake
2) appleton daquiri---lime or strawberry
3) rum cream on the rocks--add a shot of disorrono on top
4) red stripe in the bottle
5) strawberry/banana daquiri
6) miami vice, half and half pina colada and strawberry daquiri


but my favorite and easiet to drink all week, not too sweet, not too strong

VODKA SLUSHIE!! Yummy - tastes just like a frozen lemonade. Plus with no cream or milk, it doesn't get heavy on your stomach like some of the others can after say, a dozen or so

one bob marley will be plenty for the week!!

1. miller lite
2. humming bird
3. bay breeze
4. salty dog,,,have something to wash down the bad taste, sorry tommy
5. purple rain
6. ask each bartender to mix you there special drink!!!
7. loon fart/ duck fart

what the hell is a duck fart? And vodka slushies are my wifes favorite

Rum Punch but begin with a glass full of ice - a shot of Appleton and top it off with Rum Punch - refreshing and cold!!!

Next try a Long Island Iced Tea filled with ice - Yummy and you only ned1 to get the party started.

equal parts of
-crown royal
-irish cream,,,(baily's,,rum cream)
-Kahlua
shake with ice, serve cold and enjoy,,,now I want one and i'm at work!

Jamaican delight, is my favorite. This past trip I also took a liking to a Pick and Roll. Can't remember all the ingredients, but it had rum and rum cream. Helen lives on didrty bananas and also drank some Jamaicana Brownies.

My frist trip to Couples is coming up very soon, but we have been to Jamaica many times. My favorites drinks are:

Appleton VX and pineapple juice with a splash of cranberry juice
Hummingbird
Dirty Banana
Ice Cold Red Stripe (draft)

love an absolute sea breeze.....absolute/grapefruit, w/ a splash of cranberry

I am stuck on the good ol 'pina colada...

Just about all of them are good, some do tend to be a little sweet. I stick with the VX and pineapple. can't wait to have one only 5 months and 2 days but whose counting.

Lychee Martini the absolute best!

These sound like caution is required lol They could really sneak up on you on a hot day.

Appleton's and ting. We had that every afternoon in our room while getting ready for dinner....and hummingbirds, everyday at lunch. Of course, Red Stripe...only 75 more days to go and we will be enjoying all the delicious bevs at CN once more.

We are with Amy. Vodka slush is the treat. It is a frozen Kamakazi basically. They are great just like she said. Not filling. Does not give you a hang over. Very refreshing in the Jamaican sun.

blue martini fabulous also humming bird.

I always got whatever the "special of the the day" was and it usually included rum and some different juices and it was always good!

I love the Lychee Martini,Miami Vice(when sitting on the beach) and Royal Flush. 91 days from today,but who's counting!

Yu can test run the Bob Marley with a smaller Ziggy Marley (without the fire, of course).
Also loved the Purple Rain-
but my favorite drink Im afraid I can't recall the name but it contained
Rum Cream & Frangelico (sp?) over ice.
