Couples Preferred Agent - Here to assist with your booking
Rose_dave, thanks for that information. I didn't think about trying "stand by" if it's already booked by the time we get there. Hopefully we won't have to.
It's almost here. I'm getting so excited. (My husband still doesn't know about it. I'm going to tell him on his birthday. He'll have a few days to prepare before we leave.)
Hopefully we'll see you guys Valentine's Day weekend!!! Lisa & Terry
For all of you "repeaters" out there, where will you be making reservations for your Valentines Day dinner? I was wondering which place you thought would be the best for that event?
Thanks in advance for you advice! Lisa & Terry
We booked the tree-house for Valentines night this year. We wanted the beach last year and they offered the tree-house and it was awesome. I think the beach would be cool too though.
One week to go. Tonight is fashion show. Trying to sort out what to take, drinking a little vino, listening to some jazz, Jimmy Buffet and Bob Marley (hey we have diverse tastes) and watching it snow, again. Thinking about the folks from the east coast who are scheduled to leave this weekend. Hope they get out. Hoping we don't face the same thing next weekend.
Looking forward to meeting those of you that will be at CN from the 13th to the 18th when we will be there. We will be on the beach every day and in the bar most nights. We like to dance (but aren't real good). We have brought 100, 65, 50 and 30 SPF suncreen to step down and hope to be tan without getting burned by the time we leave. Probably wishful thinking, but saw some pics of one couple whose moon shots were very red and don't want to go there.
Travel safely. We met fellow Nebraskans and Lincolnites Becktamara1 last night. They will be there this next week and we will miss them unfortunately. Great people. They repeated what we have read countless times on this message board - CN is paradise! As Forest Gump said "I like things that are nice" and CN looks very nice.
Go Big Red!
We're sitting here in Central PA with 18+ inches of snow and it's still coming down!!! I am SO looking forward to leaving for CN on this Friday! I get to reveal to my husband where we are actually going tomorrow, his birthday. I think he will be pleasantly surprised, don't you?!
I know that there were two couples leaving PA yesterday or today (State College and Pittsburgh), hopefully you made it out in time. I feel for you! We can meet up at CN when we arrive on Friday and I can tell you all about the piles of snow that you left behind as we sip at drink on the beach!!!
Save us a beach chair, we're on our way!
There is a state of emergency in Delaware and there is about 3 feet of snow in my 850' driveway. We are planning to head out tomorrow evening and leave @ 7:25 am from Philadelphia if we get out of here and the planes run. Been counting down since last Valentines day and hope we make it!
Okay, now the beach is REALLY calling me! After the 18 inches of snow this past weekend, we just had an additional 10 dumped on us!!! UGH! I am just fortunate with the storm's timing. If it had all started today instead of yesterday afternoon, we would not be able to fly out Friday morning. As it is, we're keeping our fingers crossed. All flights are still shut down as of 9 pm Wednesday night.
Are those beach chairs ready yet? We're looking forward to a wonderful, snow-free Valentine's Day weekend!
