is it a good idea to bring or a waist of time?

I have to bring my laptop. I cannot unplug for an entire week. We also use it to skype with the kids. Much better than a phone call.

We used to bring our laptop with us so we could dump our pictures and burn CDs for our friends who were with us before we left. But now we leave it at home. It just depends on what you want to use it for. If it's just email, they have a computer lounge you can use.

Can you download pictures to the computers in the computer lounge....well actually upload them to your Flicker, YouTube, etc.??

Does anyone know which rooms are set up for WiFi, or where else at the resort is set up for WiFi? We have a netbook we might want to take. Also how many computers are in the internet cafe? Thanks!

There are several unsecured wireless networks running around the resort but not every room will have good enough reception to connect from the room so it depends on how lucky you feel. You can definitely bring the netbook to the lobby or gameroom if you are more comfortable using your own computer. There are 4 computers in the game room and hardly ever any waiting.

does anybody know if the computers in the game room have web cams and skype installed. If they don't I guess we will bring our own. Thanks

they are old windows boxes, I saw no webcam or mic when i was there.

JamesR, as of last year nope they did not. They usually have the CPU locked up so you would not be able to insert an usb devices, such as a webcam or flashdrive to upload pics (as asked previously). Someone please correct me if this has changed. We bring our laptop, had no problems connecting in D-14. Sure was nice not to trek to the game room.

Thanks for the info on the web cams. Looks like we will be lugging our own along.
