I have an upcomming trip to Lexington in July can you give me any advice on the weather there that time of year and fun things to do in the evenings? Are there any local breweries?

July will be somewhat hot and humid, not as bad as August or early September, but still pretty warm. Usually not too bad of weather as it doesn't rain a whole lot. With that said, it is Kentucky weather so it wouldn't suprised me if there was a tornado in the morning and snow in the evening.

As far as local breweries go, we have a Kentucky Ale, which is quite good, but we don't have like a brewery restaurant or anything, but you can get Kentucky Ale in all of the restaurants around town. Make sure you try their bourbon barrel ale! Will you be staying downtown? If so, try Bluegrass Tavern as a great place to try all of our world famous bourbons. Skybar is a little pricier, but has some great views of downtown.

Question: Would any of you that will be there on Thursday, May 12 be willing to take photos of us at our vow renewal ceremony in the CSS Gazebo at 10 am that morning? I just can't justify spending $300 for 24 photos. We would be so grateful if any of you could spare a little while to do that.

Thanks for the summer travel tips in KY. I guess I will have to try some burbon tasting. Maybe we will run into one another at San Souci, if so the first round is on me. We may even end up being neighbors as I see we are in the same room catagory. Hopefully we will be ground floor in A-block again.

Definitely try out some bourbon while you are here, best in the world. I think I might have wrote down the wrong room category, as we are in a One-bedroom oceanview suite, not a beachfront suite. I think these are in D, G and other blocks. Nonetheless, looking forward to running into you all!
