Yes, we probably played Bocci Ball around you guys more than once last year! This year, go to the LEFT!! We will have a Red Stripe waiting for you. The games are fun at the pool bar, although I think Kaydian (Sociable!) has moved on to bigger and better things. I hope they replaced her with someone just as "sociable". I think most everyone from last year will be returning also.
Hi Mike and Sue,
Bocci Ball sounds like it would be fun. I'm sorry to here Kaydian isn't there, she was a blast. I hope she is doing well. Our plane gets in on 4/27 at 1::30, so with any luck we should be home by 4:30. We have requested A block again, hope they can put us there. I hope to hit SSB by 5 pm, can't wait for that cold Red Stripe! I'll buy the 2nd round! Looking forward to meeting you, take care. Sociable!
Jerry & Brenda
We can't wait to return on May 18-25 (renewing our vows). We've stayed in San Souci a few times but way back when it was under Grand Lido. I remember that the daily spa massages were included in your stay back then. We've also stayed at Grand Lido Braco where we got engaged (before it became family resort) and got married at Couples Swept Away 5 years ago (Negril has the best beaches). Though, looking forward to CSS Mineral pool.
My fiance and I will be celebrating our Honeymoon at CSS 4-29 through 5-6. We are really looking forward to some R&R and room service breakfasts haha!! Hopefully we will meet some of you down there! Ill be the guy with the lady that is way to good looking for him
Brian and Charlene will be there May 18-25. This will be our first trip to CSS. We have been 6 times to Grand Lido Braco and once to HII. We basically live on the a/n side. There will be about 12 other couples with the same dates tagging along also. Somewhere about 2005 a group got started at Braco called the MidManiacs. I look forward to seeing the gang again and meeting new folks.
You asked earlier what the difference was between CSS and CN. Sorry it took me a while after getting back to get back to you.
CN was Great! It was quit different then CSS thou! CN does have a much nicer Beach. the Vibe at both resorts are very differnt. Its very hard to explain. CSS was a whole lot more romantic. At CSS there were many times that we felt we were all along at the resort. Never felt that way at CN. The Staff at CSS were definitly much nicer. Its not that the staff at CN were not nice, it just seemed that the Staff at CSS truly cared about your stay, were the CN staff would help you, but it didnt seem like they cared as much! A little more of a Party Crowd at CN. Food was great at both resorts! Deserts we thought were better at CSS. We had a Gargen Room (3308) at CN and really enjoyed it. Also, we felt that many of the staff at CN would be waiting for a tip, were as at CSS we never felt that vibe.
We did like CN and we will be going back. But CSS is nicer for that time alone with the Wife! We will probably do every other trip CSS- CN. We did do the trading Places with CSA! For Us, way to Big. Also, we didnt feel the romance we felt at CSS! CN had alot more romance to it as well! In fairness, we may not of felt it seeing we were only there for 6-7 hours. When you dont have a room, it makes it feel awkward, so that, I am sure played into it. Also, there were tons of Bee's at every Bar we went to at CSA. My wife hates Bugs, so she was very uncomfortable about being stung.
If you have any specific questions, just let me know.
Getting very close to the double digit dance! Cant Wait!
We will be there for our first visit May 25-June 1. Will anybody else be there during this time? This is our first visit to an all inclusive having completed numerous cruises, thought we might try something new. The wife is looking forward to the Au-natural beach!
Wife and I will be there from 5/21-5/31. We are also planning on using the AN beach (at least once!)
suzyQ funny you should mention that post. It was the SO who wrote it!! Bugger. LOL The hot tub was only minor to me but I understand his frustration. He had been to Braco a number of times so the pool and hot tub on the AN side was a disappointment.
If you don't mind me asking, what happened with the hot tub?
Anyone planning on doing any excursions from the property while there? We are considering Appleton Estate. Found what appears to be a reputable tour company that provides transportation to and from. It appears that they have group discounts. 1-3 people are a base price, the more you add, the less it costs per person. If anyone else is interested let me know. I've emailed them asking the exact cost from CSS and will post it here.
