    Default Private Dinner ???

Has anyone done the private dinner at CSS? Is it romantic? I'm trying to decide if it's something worth to do as a surprise for my husband for our anniversary.

For our anniv on 8/6, we ended up having room service..so awesome! We told the staff about our 16th anniv & they did not disappoint! In fact, we ended up coming home w/ about 5 corks from champagne

Hmmm wondering if we should just do room service one day instead of the private dinner......I'm torn.........

That's a good point...room service is free :-) We just might do that since the room service menu looks so good. Plus it might be more romantic to eat in our room or balcony while listening to the ocean :-)

If you do opt for a private dinner, you should consider the wedding gazebo insteada of the beach. It seems a more private, intimate space to me.

LOL...I just decided that I DO want to do the private beach dinner. After seeing the pictures from the photo contest, I like how it looks. Thanks for listening everyone :-)

private dinner in December 2009 was delicious but we felt that the roaming photographer was very pushy and intruded in on our privacy. other than that, it was pretty cool. I suggeast that you have the room service instead so you do not have the disturbance, and the food is just as tasty as the private dinner.

We have done the Private Dinner in the Gazebo twice, both times for our Anniversary. It is so lovely and private. The photographer came by once, but when we said we didn't want any photos, he left right away, no problem. We had the server use our camera and take a photo of us (both times).

It is a unique, romantic experience. You can always order Room Service, but for a special occasion (like your anniversary), splurge on the Gazebo dinner. I am not sure where you live, but in my home town $150 is a bargain for an elegant, multi-course dinner for two (with champagne). You will have that memory of a special night for a lifetime.
