Just saying hi and getting us a thread started.

We had a great time getting to know all of you. Hope everyone had a safe and uneventful trip back. I've got tons of photos to go through and some really good ones of all of us. Miss you guys already.

We are back in KC
Missing you guys
We are trying to get dug out of our piles of work, you know how that is.
We got the youngest back from the grandparents
We got back late Sunday night, and on Monday morning, I saw a picture from last year that we had up on the wall. It was Heidi sitting at the Beach grill and I said we were just sitting there yesterday. That is when it sunk in that we were back--no waves, no tree frogs, no hot sun at SSB.

Hi, Jeff&Mandy.
Have been looking on the main board for your post. Just thought I look at meet-up board, glad I found your post. Victoria and I are very homesick. We really enjoyed meeting you guys and seeing others from last year. I know our paths crossed briefly this year, will have to plan better next year. Hope you all had a great time like we always do at CSS. I can not view your pictures from my work computer, will see them at home. Thanks for posting them.

Just want to say we had a great time hanging with you guys. Wish we could do it about every three months. We always go around the same time every year, maybe we can do it next year.

To all,

Dan and Peggy checking in. After the long flight Friday, and the long drive to and from OBX, it is nice to sleep in our own bed. That being said, the bed is no where as good as lounge chair at SSB.

We talked so much about CSS and SSB, that the couple we went to OBX would like to attend CSS with us next year.

Can't wait to get time to go through the pictures, and when I figure out how to post ours, I will be glad to share.

Wow. You are our heros. CSS and then the OBX back to back. That's our two favorite places to lounge and do nothing. We aren't part of your Sunset Beach Bum group, but we love the OBX beach and our times at SSB... Everything is IRIE!

Hey guys, it's great to hear you are making a trip to CTI in December. Wish we could make it too, but it looks like July will be our next trip. Are you guys planning on returning in July also. We haven't booked yet but are planning to soon. We are looking at the second week of July (3rd through the 11th). We have been talking with David and Erin on facebook and I believe they are planning on returning too. Lets keep in touch. Miss you guys!

We are down to 14 days to go home
slightly off course to CTI but still to the Jamaican sun

We are still going in July 2010
We have to talk to the grandparents this weekend when we are in San Antonio to firm up babysitting. But we are looking at 7/2 to 7/11
That would match up with you guys.

To all the Sunset Beach Bums,

Happy Thanksgiving, or for those from across the pond, Happy July 26[ or 27 as I am writing].

John, hope you have a great time. We hope to get a second trip in somewhere, but skiing may take the place of a winter trip. Park City UT is perfect in Feb and March.

Shooting for late June or early July again in 2010, but will not be able to plan until May.

One last thing, for all from Texas, Go Bearcats. Here is hoping we can meet somewhere in between. How about a Bowl Game at SSB?

Jealous of John and Heidi with their winter vacation. I believe I'll be traveling around the same time, just to a much less pleasant destination. I hope you guys enjoy your trip.

We're looking at booking in the new year, and leaning towards the 4th of July weekend again. Depends on availability of family and other things.

Just to see us off, we got four inches of snow last night
The thermometer says 8 degrees outside but it is going to 89 tomorrow in Jamaica

Just a quick note from CTI

We are sitting out on our balcony
Looking out across the new pool with the swim up bar to Tower Island
There is a wedding this evening so everyone had to leave at 300 but that was OK, I was already cooked
